how does the waitlist work? do you get to the top by grades or how fast you signed up to be on the waitlist?
how do they determine who gets priority
Someone will have to not accept then they go back to the waitlist. other than that idk how they pick, maybe by availablity in the major?
So I was waitlisted to Steinhardt LOL but I got into Columbia. Let that be a lesson then cause decisions are truly random

I just checked their website regarding the waitlist, and they don’t do priority… but if you accept to be put on the waitlist and there’s an open spot then they revisit all other applicants who also accepted to be put on the waitlist and choose from those

Its a second round of consideration where the amount of spots is decided by how many people got accepted but decided not to go
