Did you take that to mean this coming Monday- in other words, deferred decisions will come out after RD?

Yes. RD tomorrow but then deferred will be Monday thru Thursday.

Thatās super confusing! I think my son had said when he was deferred that March 25th was mentioned. Part of my encouraging him to branch out was because the merit money had āallā gone out at the beginning of March as well as the lack of response on EA. Regardless, this is even more reason to put this to rest. Iām grateful the school he has chosen has communicated so eloquently and clearly with us through the ENTIRE process. While I know he loved (and still loves) OSU, this is a lot.

hello! i called twice today and the first time i heard that it would be next week and when i called again they said tomorrow. not really sure whats going on here

Engineering Special Fee
The College of Engineering, which includes the Knowlton School, received approval for a new āEngineering Special Feeā of $4,000 at a recent Board of Trustees meeting. This will replace the existing program fee
So, $590/yr fee is increasing to $4,000/yr for engineering majors. Wow. OSU may be coming off list for our daughter.
I cannot see any sense in what OSU is doing here. After RD, there are still slots set aside for deferred people? or they have made the decision but announcing later?
I always thought ādeferredā meant that an EA applicant was deferred to RDā¦so should be included with all RD announcementsā¦dunno.

My S20 didnt get an merit from OSU and we waited for Morrill. Didnt get it but he ended up getting into Princeton. I hope the best for you. My S22 got the Morrill and applied test optional but is involved in community and had a good essay.
