Remember the Banana Splits? One banana, two banana… Their names were Fleegle, Drooper and ??
Burns and Allen. I loved Gracie. She was do ditzy-ling adorable.
Green Acres.
More votes for Courtship of Eddie’s Father, Family Affair, Hogan’s Heroes, and Mission Impossible. I’d come home from school, make an open faced peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk, and watch TV. I don’t remember having homework, except practicing my instrument (which I loved).
Some people have a strange definition of “sitcom.” ![]()
Does anyone remember the Art Linkletter Show and his kids interviews? My mother got a lot of her Christmas present ideas from the gifts the kids received.
There was a Saturday morning kid’s game show called Shenanigans.
Candid Camera with Alan Funt was funny too. It made me appreciate people who could take a joke.
The Mary Tyler Moore Show opening credits had Mary tossing her hat in the air and a woman in the background looking sternly into the camera.
Family Affair. Also Lassie, Flipper, Andy Griffith, Bewitched.
What would life be with laugh tracks?
Yes, I remember the Art Linkletter Show. The kids were interviewed at the end of the show. I can even remember what kind of chairs they sat in. Did anyone watch Wonderama on Sunday mornings? I wanted to be the kid - with outstretched arms - who had all sorts of toys and games piled onto them.
Sanford and Son, All in the Family, The Jeffersons.

I was responding to their question, “What other old tv shows do you miss?”
Perry Mason, Route 66, Then Came Bronson. I thought Michael Parks was cool and I couldn’t wait to buy a motorcycle. Got a Honda instead of a Harley.
I remember the Art Linkletter show. Based on the kid interviews, he had another show “Kids Say the Darndest Things”.
I do remember Wonderama. Watched it almost every Sunday morning.
It’s too hard to come up with sitcoms I miss. Every post reminds me of another one I liked.
There were also game shows that I liked - Password, The Match Game and Supermarket Sweepstakes.
@HarvestMoon1 The Banana Splits were Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snorky. I loved that show. :x
Hogan’s Heroes, mission impossible- I remember when it came on it was my bedtime! As soon as I heard the match light and the music, mom would say “Chuckle it’s time for bed” it was very sad. Every once in a while, mom would let me watch an episode. One of my favorites was the Wild, Wild West with Robert Conrad- who was my first crush…
The past couple of months have seen the passing of several old sitcom stars: Patty Duke, William Schallert, Madeleine Sherwood (Flying Nun) and now Alan Young.

Me, too - but if iirc wasn’t it just a local program on a NYC channel - like ch 11?
Wonderama was on Ch. 5.
^ Good memory!
My favorite show from early childhood was The Mickey Mouse Club Show. I loved Spin and Marty.
I watched Mr. Ed and My Favorite Martian and My Three Sons, but I don’t miss them. I do miss MASH. I gave it to my husband back when the kids were in high school and we watched all of it - I was impressed with how well it held up.
My sister and I enjoyed many hours of Wonderama in Los Angeles
