Who mentioned USC? I don’t see it in the past posts. I remember several years ago the newspaper doing an article about USC and the other USC and which USC was the real USC depended on what part of the country you lived in. I remember thinking, there’s another USC? That being said, we all know which USC is the real USC.
Out of curiosity, now that this board has become so active. If you have missed a few days and you’re 50-100 posts behind, how do you know where to start reading?
Accepted to SUNY Binghampton. One more EA result will come out late January, otherwise, DD’s early app is done. Now there are 7 RD app and a long wait is awaiting until the end of March.
@mysondad, someone mentioned good news on the college acceptance front, and cross referencing from the list of acceptances, the school was USC…although in this case, the SC is South Carolina!
@Mysonsdad @2filles mentioned her daughter’s acceptance to USC Honors on the acceptance thread earlier. Y’all may be the “real” USC, but we were the original. 
I’m originally from FL I spent a year at UT (University of Tampa) I was really confused when we moved to Texas and everyone keep on saying UT and meaning UT - Austin. I have a good friend that told me a few years ago that his daughter was going to UT, I offered that he could stay with us when he visited, he was very confused - turns out his daughter was going to the University of Tennessee!

Funny, I thought University of Tennessee when you said UT.

@3scoutsmom My niece is from Orlando and when she announced on Facebook that she would be attending Miami University, people kept responding with at least you’ll be close to home.
Weird thing about UT is there is one girl at my school accepted at University of Tennessee and another going to University of Tampa! And I live in upstate NY.
DS is now 3 for 3! Accepted to Clemson with a nice scholarship. Not his best financial choice at this point but still in the running. DS just needs to decide if the difference in cost is justified.

@mysonsdad I just check in more frequently so it isn’t to hard to go back to where I last read something. Never a dull moment around here! I have a feeling my phone app is smart about starting me where I last left off, but I don’t think that works on all platforms.

I’ve never mentioned her before on this thread, but I have a niece who is Class of '16 and today she got a $12,000/year scholarship to Azusa Pacific. I am so proud of her.
@carolinamom2boys, I was trying to be as ambiguous as possible so now matter which USC someone was thinking about it would be the real USC. Figured I would do a play on words lol
As for knowing where to start reading on the thread, I always click on my user name at the top of the page and the go to “Replies” on the left hand side and click on the last reply I did. I figure that way I’m not too far off from where to start reading.
A little off topic, but speaking of initials, here in California we have a private technical school called Universal Technical Institute or UTI for short.

Hi all as always I want to send Super Congrats to all receiving great news (since we are so active of a thread its hard to specifically reference every student), hugs and special sweets to those receiving less that hoped for news. D has received her second acceptance tonight…she was accepted to Binghamton! We are very happy and surprised that we heard tonight. Based on that schools thread I was thinking that results would not be coming until after the new year…lol.
Regarding how many post I go back through when I have become behind…the answer is…all of them because I am an good news junkie and love to hear about all the students great news and all of great ideas I get from all of you! I also feel for all that do not receive the news most hoped for!
