We graduate at a performing arts center too, but graduation date is set way back last year. There are 4 or 5 schools that graduate there so we are always the 4th Wednesday of June at 4pm.
CONGRADS to everyone else with good news! I have regained my composure via a bit of extra chocolate and can now handle more excitement. Bring on the good news for everyone, I say. I truly hope that everyoneâs DC reach a decision they feel great about soon. I am willing to share my virtual chocolate with those in need. Just let me know.
Just learned that DD has been accepted to Mount Holyoke and received a Leadership Award! I thought she would get in but did not expect the scholarship. Things are definitely looking up here!
S got accepted to Brandeis. That led to a mini-discussion about schools. 5 acceptances, 5 still waiting on. I donât think this is going to be as easy a decision process as we had with D.

Gosh this is all so exciting! My family asks everyday what the word is on CCâŠfunny in the beginning they thought I was a little bit crazy, now we are all invested.
re: decline notifications. So far several schools that had online accept/decline systems specifically had a drop down menu asking where she was accepting and/or a box to leave a message when she indicated that she was declining. I think if I were in admissions I would want to track where we loosing students. D16 it keeping it short and simple. Still needs to get a few more done.
Found out I got into Sarah Lawrence College today with their Presidential Scholarship (24k/year renewable merit)! Very excited!
@frenchtoastlover - Got to ask - did you leave out any colleges from your list? It seems so diverse.

Congrats on the great news, all, and condolences to those deferred and wait-listed. Frenchtoastlover, you get the stamina award for applying to so many colleges / universities. My D pooped out after seven. She was done. I did read a thread by someone who said she had applied to 27 schools, and she said that the record at her school was 34. I cannot even imagine.
