I changed the name to college confidential class of 2019 parents. Hopefully that brings up less results to sort through. If you need to become my friend to find it, we can do that temporarily too.

@5050100 a FB group is basically this, with names. This is social media as well, just anonymously. I get it though- I refuse to do Pinterest or Snapchat. Ha!
I am happy this poor redesign happened after my last kid graduated. CC has been pretty helpful to me for the last 4 years or so, but I donāt know if I would have utilized the site as much had it been so cumbersome as it is now.
I feel like an old geezer complaining about stuff like this, but the new format just is not very intuitive. Someone on here needs to go back to school for some up to date UXI experience.
Maybe we will get used to itā¦I hope this thread will keep active despite the change.

My oldest son always flew back and forth to school. When he moved in, he took everything that would fit in a samsonite duffle bag, and I ordered the rest of his stuff (toiletries, etc.) on Amazon and had it shipped to his dorm. The great thing about the duffle bag was that it took up next to no space when it was empty, but could hold a ton of stuff.
My oldest kept his stuff stored at his frat house over the summer months. My younger son pays a small fee to keep his stuff stored at school over the summer.
@shuttlebus Iāve heard about those Samsonite duffles. I bought two for our drop off plans! We will leave one for S19 at school and fold the other one up and bring it home in my luggage.
Ugh. Iām on a number of forums and there is always some adjustment when they redesign, but this is honestly the worst Iāve seen so far. I find this incredibly difficult to navigate and am finding things through my history rather than the forum pages.
I also think this āupgradeā is horrible. I am happy that the annoying video in the right hand corner has been removed. Hopefully, more revisions are on the horizon.

@SJ2727 we need a couple of bags like this because we will be flying out for drop off. We can check six bags there but just four home since we are obviously leaving S19 at school! We will have him keep one there and we will fold the other up and shove it in one of our other empty bags for the (lonely) trip home without him!
I agree. I completely hate it.
