D24 texted during lunch that she is so nervous for her ED decision to come out, and I wish there was some way to distract her or convince her the decision isn’t coming until next week. Good luck to everyone getting decisions in the coming days!

Fordham EA came out! D24 got accepted, but even with the Dean’s scholarship of 25K, that place is so expensive that we won’t know if we can afford it until FAFSA goes through in Feb. Not a big deal–it’s not in her top tier.

Good luck to everyone expecting decisions (and congrats to everyone who’s gotten good news)! C24 is waiting on decisions from 2 or 3 schools, but we don’t know the dates any of them will actually come out. I think I’m starting to be ok with that (after spending the last month counting down the minutes until tomorrow at 3, only to have that school change their decision date for EA applicants). I think I’m finally at “I can’t control or anticipate it, so might as well not worry.” Here’s hoping it lasts.

Thanks for your well wishes! This strain is ROUGH!! Last time she was asymptomatic, this time is reminding me when she got the flu in Kindergarten…and my heart just about broke.
We are 2 hours from ED…I wonder if she’s even gonna be up to it? Part of me wants to suggest she waits until she feels better…the other part of me is about to explode with anticipation 'cause one way or the other it will be OVER.
Will be standing by to see how it goes for your household tomorrow. Sending luck (because that’s what is IS. Our kids are great 
)

S24 txt me he got into Mercer University via EA II. Merit aid offer was ok. (I was hoping for more!) However, it still makes it under $35k a year so it will stay on the list.
He actually decided last minute to apply Mercer for their Global Health program, right before the EA II deadline.

Hugs to you and your poor daughter. Mine was very sick and feverish for about 3 days then started improving fairly rapidly. If she is willing to way maybe that would be good? Hard to say. A yes certainly could be a boost to her spirits if she feels well enough to feel it. But could you even celebrate with her? My poor daughter isolated in her room not wanting any of us to get sick. I very much hope she feels better very soon.

Watching you all, I’m weirdly glad we have another day for ED. I’m not ready yet. Mood music is somewhere between twenty-twenty-twenty-four-hours-to-go, on the one hand, and One Day More on the other.
(For the record, I never did buy swag, just eyeing it on Amazon. One is low stock and the other might not arrive by the 25th.)

2 Acceptances for us today !
D24 in at her ED school and S24 in at the SCEA school he is committed to for athletics.
Whew. We were expecting the SCEA after the likely letter, but the ED for D24 of course could have gone one of 3 ways - a happy night in our house!
