Post numbers are back! Well, that only took 5 months! And I like the green check marks next to threads I have looked at. Thumbs up!

Well, it is an improvement.

Interesting that the time stamp is saying yesterday, however. Apparently CC can turn back time.

I was wondering about the time stamp. I thought to myself: “Really, why didn’t I see this yesterday?”

The green check mark is only for threads you have posted on, not just looked at

Time stamps, and post numbers, and green checkmarks, oh my! :)

But how come Post # 1 is actually the second post in the thread? Why isn’t the OP considered Post # 1? Not that it matters, I guess. We should just be grateful that they’re numbered at all. But I’m curious anyway…

Some programming language use 0 as the first index.

I’m thrilled with the numbers. I just assumed they numbered the responses to a thread, and not the OP.

great, but I’m starting to think the CC is run by the govt…how long should it take to make tiny improvements?

Now, if they could just do something about the blinding white background…

Also , a nifty "reply " button on each post response - do you see that ???

I am still getting logged out for some reason. So, so annoying!

Abasket…I noticed the reply option our posts…but why is that neccessary when you can just reply on the bottom of the page? A bit redundant.

^^^
Has anyone used the “reply” button? Maybe it references that specific post.

HarvestMoon, I just replied specifically to the reply button on your #13 post - it just brought me directly to the reply box at the bottom…

I agree then that it is “redundant”.

Redundant is okay in the big picture. The post numbers are such a welcome change.

I wish they would put back the info part so I would know beforehand the age and gender of the person I am replying to. Sometimes that information is useful.

Agree- want that optional info on location et al. Can really do without the avatars. Dislike the huge list of emoticons, they also interfere with the end of the first line- many times I want to start a word et al and the emoticons pop up instead. I also noted that if I start a reply and never post it it remains as is- despite sometimes having thoughts disappear I would rather not have to erase each line instead of just exiting.

Deleted.
