Agree on Swapnil and those MUST be contacts.
Blake – being the way he is and growing up where he did – probably knows a thing or two about being ostracized. (I still think he’s annoying, but a little less so, now.)
I lost my post
Anyway, I think swap…, Ashley, Blake will bE around for awhile, and the winner. Blake showed strength in defending the underdog. (If I look up names, my post will disappear again). There are many in the less able-to-compete under stress who will,go home in the coming weeks.
I love the show and this season’s talent is amazing, but I want to toss out those gigantic hoop earrings…not attractive, beyond impractical.
Swapnil - what are you wearing?
Just gotta say–the “mean girls” picked Ashley last. The “good guys” didn’t pick her either!
She got picked last for some reason and it wasn’t because of mean girls. If she was so great the guys would have picked her up pronto.
gouf78, you are right about that.
I found myself hoping that they would make the entire blue team safe next week, so that for sure one of the others would go home if they didn’t step it up.
FINALLY I had time to watch - it was driving me crazy to see you all posting about this episode yet I couldn’t peek at the posts!!!
First of all @toledo , yes, in our area they showed the Mary Kay challenge first and then the new episode. I had two PR episodes on my DVR for September 3.
I was also VERY annoyed because my DVR cut off before they announced who was going home - Heidi had it down to the three bottom girls and the video ended! UGH. D2 saved the day and told me who went. Amanda, you had your chances girl - time for you to leave and really, you have no legs to stand on that you should have stayed!
Agree with much you all have said. I was REALLY disappointed in Candice - she is a favorite but I thought she was an awful leader/friend/teammate/designer this episode. I’m liking Lori more and more. I don’t know that I love Ashley and her work and I do think she seemed to carry on excessively about being picked last (someone has to be last right? Second to last isnt much better!!) So true that the guys could have taken her too!
I also am FLOORED that Swapnil has not won (has he won at all?) He is right up there most weeks and is my current overall favorite.
A basket, can I like what you said three times?
I feel bad saying this but are others as bothered by Amanda’s horrible foundation makeup as I am? It’s got to be several shades darker than her neck, for example. Shiver.
No on the foundation make-up. Especially for newbies on TV. The lights can be so bright that you need to wear a couple (or more) shades darker to just look normal. Not bringing that down around neck is normal for most not familiar with such heavy make-up and techniques.
But aren’t there some professionals on set that help with that sort of thing?
I truly doubt it. Think about it. “Okay, contestants! You have til midnight tonight and a couple hours in the morning and BY THE WAY spend 2 more hours on your make-up.”
Arghhh!!! The worst Project Runway episode ever!! (I’m out of town on East Coast and they just had the runway show; no judging yet). I hate these kinds of challenges. Seriously, who cares?
I thought Merline’s was almost as bad as Blake’s. I can’t believe she won. And they’re going to reproduce and SELL that getup?
I watched last half, and I hate the result. they got rid of one of my favs! How could they? I will miss this person.
Now, I taped the show, knowing I’d be at Bookclub, so I will watch from the beginning.
I agree it was the worst show ever. I’m just not that into lingerie. I choose bras and panties that are least likely to show under my clothes. Although his design was bad, I’m surprised, from a TV show perspective, that they sent Blake home. His personality is unique to the bunch they have left.
This was the first episode I watched in several seasons, and I only did so because the Yankees and Blue Jays got rained out. I have a feeling I picked the wrong episode. I wasn’t very impressed with anything – it all looked remarkably uncomfortable.
Sitting happily here in 1) a nice, plain, supportive beige bra that properly handles my DD’s and doesn’t show under a tee shirt, colorwise or decoration-wise, and 2) underpants that don’t nestle up into my butt crack. I don’t think Heidi’s line has anything to offer me!
Little Blakie didn’t know nothin’ about lady parts, by golly. What a little fraud. I just hope Tim doesn’t “save” him next week. That happened once before, I think?
So Nina thinks it would be lovely for one of the black bras (the winner’s?) to show through a sheer shirt, because that look is so very on-trend right now. Anyone else see that look in the supermarket this week? Me neither.
