Finally caught up on this season. So far my favorite designs have been done by Swapnil, Edmund, Candice and Ashley. It think it will be between Swapnil and Candice though, as I the judges may end up having “taste” issues with Edmund and I think Ashley may crack.
Hated the last two challenges. Where’s the “garden party” challenge when you need it? Although, I will say I have no idea who Bella Thorne is, but she was a damn good guest judge. She actually knew about lingerie construction.
Travesty. And Heidi’s replica looks just as bad IMO!!!
How about Lori’s - I thought her panties were TERRIBLE!!! Front and back!
That was an episode best forgotten.
OTOH I thought Ms. Thorne was sort of vying for a spot on the next PR as a judge. But I am judgey like that.

Great episode! Yay! Project Runway’s back! For the first time in a long time, I completely agreed with the judges! Hope Swapnil’s lethargy is short-lived; he’s been my favorite from the start.
I think this is a very talented group of designers!
I definitely agree with who was sent home, Lindsey should be next. I wish there couldve been a tie because Ashleys dress was a winner too.
Ashley’s polaroid dress did not impress me. “OOHH, THAT TOOK A LOT OF TIME!” …please. Guess I have enough of those pix around to make my own stiff dress. 500 pix would take less than 10 minutes to break the chemical seal–and she used a rolling pin. Better than a mouse pad dress though.
No clue what Swapnil was thinking. I wonder if he’s as arrogant as they make him appear.
Lindsey’s dress would have been MUCH better full length.
Loved the winning look but air duct doesn’t strike me as using “old technology”.
It’s the first thing Kelly made that I liked. I think she won as kind of a “most improved” reward. I did like Ashleys dress.
Swapnil definitely looked lethargic last night. I was surprises when he was talking and was saying he’s only been putting in 70% effort as he’s been in the top 3 most weeks and has had some great designs. It will be interesting to see what happens there.
I’m ready for a non-team, conventional challenge. Let them select their fabric and give the designers a chance to really design.
Swapnil came across in a negative light in this episode - what with the frequent smoking breaks and the level of effort.
Slightly off topic, but what was Heidi wearing at the Emmy awards?!! Hope to goodness that mess wasn’t a challenge winner from project runway
I heard her say in an interview yesterday that she saw it on the runway and just had to have it (go figure…). Maybe she saw it at Fashion Week. They showed a brief clip of the model wearing it down the runway and it looked a lot better on the model than it did on Heidi.
