But kentaro didn’t do well tonight. I thought that Keisha was going home, but they liked her look. I hav my favs, but I can’t guess the judges choice.
I was really surprised that Tim did not use his save.
If it had been Kentaro, who I feel had the worst outfit this week, I think he would have used the save.
My pick for final 3 are Brandon, Kentaro, and Ayana.
I laughed out loud when kantaro’s model made the comment about looking like Pocohantes cause I was thinking the exact same thing. His was the worst to me. The winning luck was stunning.
Tonight’s loser was a no-brainer but what was Kentaro thinking? His styling was awful.
And then to hear at the end it was itchy fiberglass. He should have been at the bottom for that reason alone! His model was very patient.
I love the model, Meisha (Ayana’s model tonight). She is adorable. And I loved Liris’ line, “I look like Pocohontas going to play football.” Ayana just might surprise everybody and win this thing.
I think chose not to use his save because he agreed with the judges. As much as the loser has done great things in the past, last night’s outfit was a clear loser. The name of the game on this show is “What have you done for me lately?” And last night’s losing look deserved to go home in my opinion.
Kentaro’s styling choices were BAD, and she DID look like Pocohontas. But his detail work was good-- the pleating, the seam binding, all the other technical details.
I think Tim only uses his save when the thinks the judges got it wrong, not when a good designer makes a bad outfit.
I think the judges were right in saying that don’t really know who Margherita is. At least Michael took a risk which allowed the judges to better understand his design aesthetic. I understood what he was going for and I actually enjoyed the look. I love Kenya but I was not at all impressed by her dress. The shape was slightly warped and it was not flattering on the hips. I think she should’ve went home on this channel. Michael’s look was more inventive.
I have to say Kentaro’s was the worst for me. He seems to be losing a little focus. That said I didn’t like the loser’s either. If you think which of the two I would rather see at fashion week I think they made the right decision. Who goes home next will all depend on what the challenge is and how they respond.
They haven’t done a formal gown yet.
I agree with Brandon, Kentaro, and Ayana as the final three. There is no way Zak is giving up Brandon.
@bjkmom, I agree with your comments about the judges thinking “what have you done for me lately” and Tim only using his save when he thinks the judges got it wrong. In this case, they didn’t, although it was a toss-up with Kentaro’s outfit.
Once they get this far into the competition, it’s any tiny little mistake that will get a designer auf’ed, such as Amy last week. It’s easier when there are 16 designers to knock off the low-hanging fruit, but at this point, they’re all pretty good.
I agree with Brandon, Kentaro and Anaya as the final three. I think Margarita and Kenya’s good luck lately is about to come to a halt. Margarita spends too much time looking at what everybody else is doing and Kenya spends too much time fretting instead of working.
I know nothing about the guest judge last night, but she was not my favorite. And yes, Brandon needs to lose the hanging straps.
The guest judges have been a disappointment this year… the quality (as well as “star quality”) has declined over the years, along with the ratings, I guess

I rewatched the show this morning. I’m struck by how nice the people are. Kenya is SO nice, but seems more befuddled than ever. I watched the preview for the Avon show, and once again, she has no inspiration.
Guest judges not so helpful. I wish they would ask Alyssa Milano to come. The worst, IMHO, was the woman from Housewives of Bev Hills.
Whose the youngish female judge? Her vocal fry drives me nuts.
Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia are the full-time female judges (Zac Posen is the other). They have a different guest judge each week. I don’t know who any of them are. Usually someone with a movie to promote.
The Bev Hills one was Yolanda (something, her kid is Gigi Hadid a model)…she has a book I think.
Does anyone else love “Sammy’s Way”, I love the chuckle it get from each episode. I always look forward to it.
