No, what I heard was that only 3 spots were guaranteed to go to Fashion Week, not that 2 would be out. But why just leave one out since they have some fake collections in fashion week anyway to keep the winners from leaking? Just let 5 go, knowing that Kenya and (I hope!) Margarita are just there to keep the spies guessing.

I liked the black/white Audrey Hepburn dress, and the wedding dress. Brandon’s work is consistent.
I’ve been trying to imagine Kentaro’s collection, trying to get from the cream/peach color outfits to the red/black. I think he can do it. By far my favorite.

What’s with the socks on the models? I hope that’s a fake. I’m guessing the feather collection is from Michael.
You can sort of tell the designer by the shoes. Brandon’s all have shoes that tie at the ankle. Margarita’s seem to be white or clear sandals. The socks are killing me! I’m hoping they all belong to a fake. It’s too much to hope they belong to Margarita.
I have a question about the plus models for the finale pt 1. Kenya had said that she only had one thing she could put her model in and so consequently, that limited the two looks she could preview. At what point do you think designers found out who their models were going to be for part one? Because if she only has one look that she can put her model in, doesnt that put her at a distinct disadvantage to say Kentaro who had two smaller models?

They’ve been doing this for several seasons now since a winner was leaked. Now the NYFW show presents several of the already eliminated designers.
@twoinanddone - Thank goodness I think you are onto something! If so, I think Kentaro’s models must have the black sandals and that collection is very nice looking!

The for-real finale is tonight. @happy1 I’m thinking Brandon will not win tonight, simply because they’ve gushed over him for the entire season. I’m pulling for Ayana.
I agree that Ayana truly brings something new and important to the table. Though I loved many of Kentaro’s shapes and textures. Brandon always seemed like one-trick pony. Interesting, but still a one-trick pony.
I’m I pressed with margarita. She helped Kentaro with presentations of his designs. She is sincerely worried about P.R… She states her parents lost electricity, and predicts it could be 4 months u til restored. I do believe she will get a job, maybe with a Miami designer

I would have been happy was the final 2 finalists.
