Project Runway Season 15!

I also think the save was more for way Cornelius was treated, not that he has done anything great - actually can’t remember anything he made that stood out. The take away for future team challenges - buy backup fabric at mood regardless of what your team thinks. A lot of times (and kind of here) the judges don’t side with bullied designer - just point out they should be more outspoken or do what they think right on own garment. Glad he complained enough as it went along that he could stand up and say “I said that and you didn’t listen.” In some ways I think it’s better to have a designated team leader then they have a stake in listening to everyone’s views or it’s their tail on the line.

I liked the idea of the Pop Up Shops and having the public vote on their favorite collections. Tim said that they ought to do that all the time! I agree! :D/

Yes, I saw that when I was watching a rerun last night. Maybe she has a second daughter because I think I saw her with one who was about 10 years old on the bio.

Tim might have also done the save as they are getting closer to the end and I don’t think they like to do it too late into the season. Soon the winner won’t have immunity either.

I’m tired of Dexter. I thought the military poofy shoulders thing was terrible last week, and didn’t like his stuff this week either. I hated Erin’s coat. I didn’t like the Blue collection at first but it grew on me a little through the fashion show. I liked the neutral line so you can tell how exciting I am.

“I liked the neutral line so you can tell how exciting I am.”

Guess the public is less exciting than the judges want them to be also since the neutrals won.
They would’ve been the losing team except for the public vote.

I think Tim may have used his save because he really praised the red team during the critique and may have felt that he led them merrily down the garden path. I get the feeling that maybe he felt the neutral team should have been on the bottom. I personally thought Ma Jing’s dress looked sloppy.

So glad Roberi won. He and Rik haven’t gotten that much attention and I feel they, along with Laurence, are the strongest designers on the show.

I think the designers this season are very good overall. Part of the problem they have this season is that many of the best designers are pretty quiet and without a lot of emoting out loud, it is hard to have a show. It will be interesting to see if that stsrts playing a role in the decisions.

How many times are they going to let Erin get by with making that same coat?

I think all 3 should have been out. Those were just dumpy clothes. I liked the winner but didn’t think it was $50,000 spectacular.

Erin should have gone. That was awful.

The past 2 weeks I have fallen asleep during the commercial break right before they announce the winner/loser. My H doesn’t want to watch the show so I climb into bed to watch. Nothing like having to google the results in the morning!

Jenni’s mom was no help, but jenni could have just told her she would make a party dress, in her favorite color.

Why erin remains I don’t know. The dress looked like a party dress for a 4 year old.

I’m definitely getting sick of Erin and I thought hers was the worst look.

Jenni’s was pretty bad, too, and I thought she was acting like a brat in how she behaved toward her mother during the consultation. I was fine with the decision to send her home.

I thought Rik’s win was well-deserved. His look was sophisticated and a little fun. It looked like something his mom could actually wear.

I didn’t understand all the love for Roberi’s dress. It was okay but nothing special.

I really liked Roberi’s dress. As long as Laurence is in the finals, I’m happy. None of the other designers really move me. Erin shouldve gone home, that dress was HORRIBLE! Im tired of Mah Jing crying, and tired of Dexter rolling his eyes, and being a hater.

I missed the consultations with the family members. I was switching back and forth between PR and Big Bang Theory for the first half hour. What did Jenni’s mom ask for?

I’m glad Rik won. I’m also tired of Erin and Dexter.

She asked for a dress to attend a wedding, workout clothes, something in between.

Erin’s dress reminded me of a vinyl tablecloth my M-I-L used to pull out for Easter.

^^^Jenni’s mom was indecisive and asked for two or three different things and then, “Or you can just make what you want.” She didn’t have a clear direction.

Jenni’s mom started out by saying she’s like an outfit for going to a wedding or out to dinner and Jenni sort of gave her the stink eye, and then she said, “or a work out outfit.” She was clearly trying to be open to whatever Jenni wanted to make and Jenni treated her very poorly in my opinion. And the outfit she made didn’t fit any of the categories the mother named, but the mother pretended to love it anyway.

If my kid treated me that way on national tv when i was trying to support her career and ambitions I would be furious. I would not be at all thrilled with being a model for my kid on the show under any circumstance, but I would do it to support my child. I just didn’t think that Jenni came across as very nice when her mother was clearly trying to be supportive.

I thought Erin’s dress looked like one of those doilies your grandmother has on her dining room table. It was awful, but Jenni’s was just a little bit worse.

I was pleased with the winning look.

Am I the only one who thinks the outfit Mah Jing made for his mother was extremely unflattering. I was kind of excited to see the unfolding of the origami…but no…maybe it was the fabric choice. I know he said he and his mom were not close, but there was def something off a beat about the way she interacted with her son.

The jacket Laurence made for her daughter was WAY too tight.

I totally agree abt the weird vibe between Mah Jing and his mother.
