i believe so, UW-madison has something similar called progression requirement. but does focus on core requirement. but if you somehow ended up taking org chem in your freshman that average class is like 2.4, u totally screwed
I dont remember where the forms are uploaded but it seems from my post there was a “Reply Forms” tab that appeared for some applicants. Also there was a link mentioned, let me see if I can find the post about it from last year.
The changes appeared on Jan 6 for my kid and everything reverted back on Jan 10 last year. Results came out on Jan 12. Below are my posts about it:
Here is the link from last year that takes the applicant to “Reply Forms”. Not sure if it will work for this year’s applicants but i tried it now and it still works for my daughter’s account from last year.

The lottery results came on Oct 28. We should have waited. Instead we panicked and signed an apartment lease. So warning for others, don’t panic
The GPA required to get into one’s first choice major is an EAI of 3.2. FWIW, my daughter found that extremely doable and honestly most strong students are going to be fine . The vast majority of students (over 94%) get their first choice major.
Here are the links to the transition to major process:
They haven’t updated the FAQ page but: “For students transitioning to their major in Fall 2022, 96.7% of FYE students received their first choice major.”
It’s much less scary than it sounds!
Thanks. Reading through last year’s post, portal astrology posts went into a frenzy! In my S25 portal, other than change major&appeal option, everything else is there now. Also, there is nothing in reply forms tab for options. Maybe they are still not updated to decision phase.
Same
Yes, it was a frenzy last year…both exciting and nerve-wracking.
IF the results will come out tomorrow (and it is a big IF) then it might be too late to do portal astrology now. We suspected that the signs last year were the result of Purdue putting in the decisions in the portals a week before. They are probably done doing that now and any probable signs have most likely already reverted back.
I believe Purdue is releasing EA decisions on 1/15. In years past it was “by” a certain date. This cycle they seem to be clearer that it is actually “ON” the 15th ; )
Best of luck to everyone waiting!
You are most likely right. In 2022 and 2023, it was released on the Friday before (14th and 13th) because the 15th was on a weekend. Last year, the 15th was MLK day so they also released on the Friday before (12th). This year, the 15th is on a Wednesday.
No net new information, but the general look and feel of the applicant portal has changed. Noticed just now.
seems like some sort of glitch on UI and no changes on links. Probably nothing
I see that too… new backdrop image . Happened in the past 2hrs.
What are you showing under Change Requests?
We have “cancel application,” “change term” “update student info” and “update parent info”
Exactly same here. No “change major/college” option though.
same here too
People are saying the cancel tab has disappeared and that means a decision is coming out soon. Speculating about tomorrow. We still show that button. Background has changed on the website. What are the chances or hearing tomorrow?
Tuition is one amount for up to 12 credits, a highly amount for 13-18 credits, and an even higher number for 19+ credits.
It’s anybody’s guess.
Where did you hear about these people who’re reporting that their cancel option has disappeared?
Best wishes to everyone for positive results tomorrow or next week, whenever they arrive.
On the parents of senior 2025 facebook page. Others have said because the 15th falls on a Wednesday it will be on that date. The last three years it fell on weekends or holidays and that is what they announced the Friday before.
