Do you know transfer timeline? I have kid waiting for that too.

Sorry, I have not kept track of the specific Transfer Decision dates. I know there have been some Transfer admits in late February for this year but I believe they are local SD Transfers.

The majority of Transfer decisions post after the Freshman decisions in March so 2nd to 3rd week based on past history.

Any insights or expectations for today 03/04? or Friday or next week? Black box so far.

Sorry no insights but decisions should be posting either this week or next.

thank you. Is there usually a time window for decisions to be posted? 4 pm? or none?

SDSU has been posting decisions in the Late Morning/Early Afternoon but no specific time like the UC’s.

Thank you as always, and indeed UCs do have a tighter time window.

My In-State non-local son was just admitted for History…

Congratulations to him. :tada:

Can you fill out the Decision template when you have time? Also did he receive an email or did he just check his portal?

Wondering if this is just admits this wave. Also, will there be another round? I have to wait til son gets home to find out his status :face_with_peeking_eye:

Based on previous years, waitlists and denials come later so mainly admits in the first March wave however, it can change every year.

Here was the timeline last year and admits were scattered in with waitlists and denials.

March 4 admits posted. March 12, waitlists and some admits posted. Denials and some admits posted March 14.

Remember that SDSU has more of a rolling admission style, so if you haven’t heard anything yet you can’t draw any conclusions. Decisions are likely to be coming in for weeks still.

Congrats to those who have been accepted! Did you all receive an email confirming a chance in admission status? Or did you just stalk the admissions portal?

I saw someone post in this thread and told S26 to check. He hasn’t received an email yet.
