Guys, the time has come for me to step down as Community Manager for College Confidential.
It has been an absolute pleasure managing this incredible community. To the @moderators, Forum Champions, Essay Readers, Experts, and everyone who has contributed their time and knowledge—thank you for making this community feel like home.
When I joined College Confidential more than 13 years ago, I knew very little about college admissions. Through your generosity, knowledge sharing, and countless discussions, I had the privilege of learning alongside you. I started in 2013 with a business assignment, but I leave in 2026 with a genuine passion for this space and deep appreciation for this community. I now plan to build on that passion and, hopefully, create something that will be genuinely helpful to students and families.
Although I will retain ownership of this account, I won’t be serving in an official capacity anymore, so feel free to connect with me on my regular user account (@GetIN_Sorin).
