My daughter got in! CAS, but no merit aid. We loved the school when we toured it, and it is my daughter’s first or second choice. But, $88,000 is awfully steep. For those who have gone through the process before, if the school does not give any merit aid upon acceptance, is there any chance they may change their mind and award it later?

Accepted to Maxwell but no merit in the letter or in myslice. Safe to assume no $ correct? Do they ever update with $ at a later date?
Son accepted for aerospace engineering but with no merit. Syracuse is a great school for many majors but makes little sense for engineering without a discount. My son has stronger options so he has already withdrawn.

D25 accepted to the Architecture program with a 1/2 tuition Leadership Scholarship of $33,290. Very excited.

That makes sense- I think it means they haven’t provided the total cost based on fafsa/CSS vs merit that comes in the letter.

Kid got into Comp Sci with 0 merit. 88k for year one. Lmao. Goodbye Syracuse. No undergrad is worth that much.

What does the program entail? We just received an invitation to the Leadership Scholars Reception next month. It seems like a very generous award we were not expecting but very grateful.

I think merit awards came out in acceptance letters but financial aid/need would be in My Slice portal. so far as it sounds from people it may not be uploaded yet.If you submitted for financial aid, everyone is eligible for the federal stafford load in student’s name, so that at very least will show up eventually.
Same here. Sounds identical to the Spring reception Days only it is just for Leadership Scholars and it is a dinner reception in the dome instead of all admitted students and lunch in the dome. Not sure if we can make the leadership date though…
