I’m concerned that my Beginning French I & II are TRNS. TAMU has Beginning French I & II, so I’m wondering why they’re not equivalent. Other than that, I hope the Department of Entomology likes my essay and that I get 6 tabs.
@mu180r your stats are great. Your French are transferable but not sure equivalent. That won’t hurt you either way though. They’ll fall under free electives in the worst case scenario. Did you have 2 years of FL in high school? Either way, it should count for your two required FL courses for a degree (mandated for all degrees).
@AggieMomhelp Thanks for your response! Unfortunately, I didn’t have two years of FL in high school, that’s why I’m hoping my two semesters of French in college will count.
I haven’t gotten my audit yet. But I checked with A&M, all of my courses transfer except for one. And I would have all but three classes for the sociology completed and missing 4 for the Antropology.
@ExcGunnar@Walker03 Has anyone else lost the “change major” button? Not that I want to just noticed the change. Logically this makes me think a decision has been made which is why I can’t change my major, maybe it just hasn’t updated yet.
@wonderlust1 I’ve never noticed it as well. I’m trusting your keen eye lol! I’d love to hear back soon. Can other people who applied later go check in the ‘manage application’ sub-menu and see if the option is there? It’s possible the change came because of the 1/3 application deadline as well.
My son has a friend who just now submitted his application for transfer for Fall 2019. My son would like to room with him, but I’m wondering about the timing/duration of the transfer application process. Assuming his transfer application is approved, any thoughts on whether his application will be approved in time for my son to select him as a roommate? I think my son should have a pretty early dorm selection window since he signed his housing contract early morning of September 20. I’m doubtful that the timing is going to work out.
@ExcGunnar I sent in my transcripts on 1/2 and my application on 1/25. My change major button is also gone, but I think that it’s due to the application process being closed as you noted.
Is the Change of Major button disappearing a bad sign? I never noticed it in the first place. I still have the withdraw application button available under Manage Apps in Howdy? I’m nervous now. My app has been under review for almost 2 weeks this Tuesday. I received my audit 2/21.
