@AggieMomhelp do you know if AIS/Howdy usually updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays? I’ve seen majority of people see that they have 6 tabs on these days.
@hzoo111 for transfer, I’m not sure. Howdy seems to update on the wee hours of the morning
For freshman, the disappearance of change of major means PSA. Not sure for transfer
@hzoo111 I don’t think howdy only updates on those days. At least not for freshman. It should be rolling and populates as such. I checked it alll day every day for me kids lol.
@Probanaggie Ah, sweet! We have very similar stats. I’m at 45hrs with another 15 claimed as TCR on my audit through AP.
The button that says change major disappeared when I received my transfer audit. Not a bad sign. Has anyone received their letter in the mail yet?
I know this is a dumb question but the six tabs can be found in the top left of howdy where the it says home, applicant, my howdy right? I just started thinking about it and thought maybe I’ve been looking in the wrong place this whole time or something ?
@matthewg2477 If on your phone, yes. Click the menu button and the beautiful tabs will appear. If on computer, then they are across the top section.
@AggieMomhelp thank you ??
What is the average time it takes to receive a decision once the transfer audit has been released? Is admissions done with my application since they’ve completed the transfer audit, and is my application most likely at my major’s department now?
Hey Everyone, I’m a student at the University of Houston. I applied to Texas A&M this semester for Mays Business School, and I have a GPA of a 3.55. My GPA went down because of one bio course that I got a C in. I am going to be at junior standing if I got accepted and I wanted to know what my chances are of getting in.
@Aggieland12333 Have you completed all the required courses for your TAMU major?
I did yes! But the thing is I didn’t specify what major I’m going to in my essay
@Aggieland12333 Your essay is key for transfer. You must list your desired major and how you came to choose it, what you will do with it and what your passion is for it. They are very very interested in this. A generic essay will not cut it and they could choose to deny you based on this (unless you have killer stats).
Yeh like, the essay question was asking for a statement of purpose and I talked about how things in my life impacted my academic discipline and I briefly talked about the major I want through the extra curricular activities I’m involved in, but I didn’t flat out say I want to go into the uni and major in Finance (which is the major I want) know what I mean?
They retracted the change major button when they begin to ACTUALLY review your application, and change after that would throw them off
No lol I mean I did say I want business administration as my major, I was just talking about wanting to specifically major in Finance.
Major: Economics
Applied: 2/23
Transcripts: 2/27
Complete and Under Review: 3/04
No audit yet, but have 42 hours with 3.85 at Texas State
All required courses completed with one recommended in progress. Strong essays and extra-curriculars. What do y’all think my chances are?
Also, how long should I be expecting to wait for my audit/decision? Thanks!!
@Chrispm15 I applied on 2/18 and received my audit on 2/28. I’m still waiting on a decision.
@Chrispm15 @Mu180r recieved my audit 2/13 and still waiting as well
