Spoke with the senior transfer admissions director at a booth this weekend at the PTK TX convention. She said for me, (MechE) should hear back by April.
Anybody heard anything?? This wait is killing me
Woke up to 6 tabs today! Anthropology major!!! 24 hours and 3.6 GPA!
i got my transfer audit today, all classes accepted but one. What does this mean??? Is this a good sign or bad?
@jgtamu22 are you asking about it being good that a class didn’t transfer or that you got your audit. This is the first part of the review process for admissions. Now it’ll go to the department. Good luck!!! Timing will depend on the major.
Responding to @jgtamu22 (responded to your other post too): I don’t think it means anything except that they “audited” your transcript and checked what would transfer and what wouldn’t. It would only be a “bad” thing if it’s a class you thought was equivalent to a course that is required for transferring to your major. If it’s not an important class, then you should be fine (so long as you meet minimum requirements for school and major). Good luck!
@hzoo111 CONGRATS!!!
@Novelica thank you!! Are you a Liberal Arts Major too!?
Thanks so much!!!
im an edu major, too! have you heard back since your last post?
Has anyone who has been accepted received their financial aid package yet or know when they will start to be released?
@hzoo111 Nope, Engineering
@Novelica what was your GPA when you applied? Do you know anything about Chemical Engineering?
hi @“letsgetit!” i have a friend who went to utd and got accepted to tamu chemical engineering for this fall. she got the decision 3 weeks ago. her stats were pretty high and i hope u would hear from them soon!
@knorrig Do you know what your friend’s gpa was?
Hey guys I was wondering how like Aggie assurance works? I’ve read on the TAMU website about it and saw it’s for students with families that have an income of $60,000 or less. And my family’s income is waaaaaaay below that. So as long as I do my fafsa, am I guaranteed to receive it?
@“letsgetit!” hers was above 3.5 and she completed all the required and recommended coursework. hope this helps!
@aggiebound1996 all students can have health insurance through tamu. Is that what you’re asking or are you asking if it’s free for certain income levels.
@knorrig Sorry for keep on asking, but my gpa is 3.9. Do you think there is a chance to get admitted to chemical engineering in tamu?
Hello, I actually applied tamu for my first major as chemical engineering and my second major as material science and engineering. Today, I went to the ais homepage and realized my first major was changed to material science and engineering and my second major was still material science and engineering. Does it mean that I have no chance to go into chemical engineering? Please, I am so desperate…
