Howdy everyone! I’m planning on sending in my app soon for human resource development in the education college. I have all the classes they want but need one more class for required coursework. It’s math 1325/142. I took it once but failed it i know they take Phil 2303 instead of math 1325. Would it be better to retake math 1325 or take the course I would do better in (Phil)?
I have my associates from Blinn and graduated with a 3.03 gpa. Does having my associates help me out any because I’m ready to be a junior?
I’m just super worried! Any help would be great. Thanks!
@emenheiser He should be competitive for Agbus. Tell him not to blow off Blinn. There are some tough classes there and some TAMU profs actually teach both places.
@matthewg2477 You should be fine of Comm. Just make sure essay shows some passion for the major and that you give a nod to your 2nd choice major in case you aren’t accepted by comm.
@AggieMomhelp thanks for getting back with me do you think it would be a smart idea to request a major change into university studies in the college of agriculture and science the minimum gpa requirements are a 2.5 and I feel that major will better suit me in what kind of career I want.
Howdy Everyone! I just wanted to see what my chances are of transferring into Texas A&M. I am applying for Construction science. I have 34 hours from my community college dual credit but only 15 toward my major with a 3.74 for the 34 hours. I also have 12hrs at Blinn with a 3.25. I am currently taking Physics, and have taken Math from the recommended course sheet along with the other classes on the transfer sheet.
@AggieMomhelp I did specify a major in essay A i only talked about my career goals and how a&m can help me reach those goals it actually is probably better suited for ag university studies - leadership which is where I’m thinking about switching to And I also did essay C. My gpa also exceeds the minimum for that major as well.
Gotcha. University studies is a great option since you pick 2 minors. Make sure you can choose it as a transfer. Some university studies programs you have to have Tamu hours before changing. I’m assuming you looked at this already. Best of luck and keep us posted!!!
@ExcGunnar I have not, I keep checking howdy but it says there isn’t an audit yet. My application is complete and in review with all green check marks. I don’t know when they are going to send them, does anyone know?
has anyone gotten their transfer audit yet? I still have not gotten and I applied on the 7th of January. Also my transcripts have been received but not yet processed.
@Aggie21 It’s a document that shows all the classes you’ve taken based off of your transcript(s) and their A&M equivalent. People who applied for fall 2018 last January got theirs on the 9th according to the forums from that time. The admissions department is prolly just slammed. I really hope us Mays students hear back with a decision before March
Hi! I submitted my application on January 5th and still haven’t received my transfer audit, everything has been checked and my app is “complete and in review”… anyone else still not received theirs?
