The Indian Thread #21

Anvesh, advised? It is as necessary as in if you don’t, your application is incomplete. Especially for the common application.

Damnit Mrinal, I envy you so much. I want to be at a college studying and enjoying  Do you mind helping me change the clocks of all the world ahead by a month and four days? ;)

North, I believe you have the extra step of, “scatter with photos.” Also, you know what? Since you haven’t written your main essay yet, here’s an idea: Your thoughts white clicking any one photo. Focus it on what you think/do/feel all the while starting from whipping out your camera to pressing the final button.

Hehe thanks tizil for the suggestion. I was working along somewhat the same lines  and of course combining how it also changed me as a person, not like perspective wise but more so the basic thought process.

Just need to get some FREE time.
I guess I must get used to limited sleep ^_^

Sure Tiz, whatever you say. I will just ask my best friend Harry Potter for his magic wand and then we all can do whatever you want :stuck_out_tongue:
Don’t envy me, you don’t know how many people envy you on this board.

Very few if any at all, I’d imagine. Trust me, you don’t want having to do nothing all day for so many months. Doesn’t HP have that wristwatch that can change time, that I remember from the movies? We should get that. Also, i’m sure you’ve heard this before, but how do feel to be Brown@Brown? :p

North, do you have any other major extracurricular apart from photography? If not, I’d recommend applying for what we talked about to stremgthem your application. The final call, however, is still yours.

Tizil.
Shame on you.
ITS NOT A WRISTWATCH. Its a TIME TURNER> worn around the NECK.
(Not necesarily of course but Hermoine does it, and who are we to question J.K Rowling)

And well, I have Ec’s here and there but nothing primarily that I’m interested in as much.
Maybe psychology.

You have actually read the books? So it has come to this… I could barely sit through those movies. Not that i don’t like fantasy - Christopher Paolini ftw :D

If so, center your application around photography. This is just my opinon that you are free to refute.

Fine, Movies I UNDERSTAND.
Books? Really tizil you? They are a masterpiece.
Inheritance was kind of a let down though. Especially since I was jumping outside the bookshop on the road when I got my hands on it.

Aaaand I was practically going to do the same.

So, everyone done with standardized tests??

Harry Potter FTW!!! Just throwing that in there  What do you guys think about The Hunger Games?

Harry Potter!! Daniel Radcliffe! bush blush
Tizil I didnot expect it from you :frowning: Time-turner and a wrist watch has alot of difference :P

@idream : I have not read Hunger Games but have definately seen the movie. I like it and Jennifer Lawrence acted well i must say! :)

Oh poor mrinal trying to change the topic.
Well, techincally I have to give only Subject Math (2).
But if I wish to give sat 1 its a conundrum.

^^I can’t stand HP and Twilight talks anymore, my friend is full of that stuff :D

haha :stuck_out_tongue: i was crazy for both of them once upon a time and I still am a lil bit :P

Anyways whats everyone upto??

^Me?? I am following my guide pretty well :stuck_out_tongue:
But, I guess I am not the ideal 17’er here ;)

I know right. Though I didn’t buy the paper version of Inheritance. The ebook was disappointing enough :(

Oh but Crystal, that is what makes us unique ;)

Also guys, try and stick to the point. 5 consecutive posts here or there going off-topic doesn’t matter but sooner or later, you will attract the ire of them |/|0[)s.

Fine.
Straight line now.

so how many people have their testing left?
Mrinals all done I guess.

To quickly change the topic,

Who are done with their tests??
Where are you guys applying EA/ED ??

@mrinal thats cool, I like your guide too :stuck_out_tongue:
@tizil , yes I agree maybe thats whats unique

So guys I am planning to give SAT II in MATH II and PHYSICS but I was wondering from where should I study and what all topics will be there ?
Could anyone please tell me!

I may EA to Stanford. Mrinal, SCEAing to the big H? Saw your post on its forum :p

Crystal, wait for a bit of 11th to get over so you have an understanding of what functions are. if you can self study and understand it then great.

Honestly when I gave my SAT 1 I had no clue what they were and I totally winged it (not recommended)

The books I used were both Barrons for physics and math.

EA at Uchic.
(maybe)
