<p>Okay, an uncanny thing happened. I am not applying to UPenn or Brown but I had them on my Commonapp list (because why not?). Their RD deadlines have passed but I tried submitting the applications just for fun just now. Of course I wasn’t going to pay, so I selected the Other Fee Waiver option. The application actually got submitted. No errors, no deadline warnings whatsoever. I reverted it back because I didn’t expect it to actually be submitted (and even if I did, I’d complete the supplement first :D), but I am curious as to why it happened.</p>

<p>actually afaik, the portal is open for sometime even after them deadline, HOWEVER, the colleges don’t download you application.
so even if you have sent the app, it’s in a limbo :3 lol</p>

<p>Well, I’m pretty much obsessed with birds (go ahead, roll your eyes). So I submitted a bird photography portfolio, which is pretty representative</p>
<p>Hey there, I’m a bird enthusiast as well, and have been lately photographing a lot of sky and birds. My locality is a fine blend of nature and urbanisation and there are a LOT of birds and it is easy to get a close look at them using bird feeders. (I once saw a FREAKING EAGLE drinking through the bird feeder in my balcony. Couldn’t photograph it, but it was amazing). I didn’t send it in the portfolio though because I’m just an amateur and my work is very limited.</p>
