<p>^ Depends largely on how much aid you’ve requested. Cornell, UVA and NYU sound good without aid.</p>

<p>Cornell isnt need blind for internationals and despite being US resident and ED and 2170 sat 1 (at tht tym) i was rejected(for CAS) earlier…but still i heard someone got in to cornell frm karachi with 2100 SAT 1 though he was a big debate guy and may be more importantly no aid!
For cornell i hav heard getting into CAS is difficult but engineering and CALS is relatively easier</p>

I am in the US so thats why I was able to apply but many of my friends frm karachi hav used my address to apply cooper…so factually there are 5 ppl applying to cooper with the same address…competition you see… I wonder if any of us could get in!</p>

<p>^^ Unconventional Wisdom, it may not be, but Rice only has merit-based scholarships, the competition for which is EXTREME. Hope you have a few safeties - Gettysburg can’t be a safety for sure :)</p>
