yup, good luck paki and freak :D

anyway, does anyone from here play counter strike online? :D

oh amherst releases decisions on 25th? =O that’s so near…
Anyone applied to Carleton?

You read my mind, I have Counter Strike Source btw, but its modified to have some sort of ID-protection and so it doesn’t connect online :S, I play with bots… what your favorite map? I like fy_snow, its a small map but you can go on playing for hours.
But nothing beats Civilization IV, it’s the best game ever. :D

I made the mistake of emotionally investing in Stanford! I did not do that with any other of my other options due to the reality of the process, I will be rejected from most! But now I am trying to shake that off! The more detached you are from the colleges, the better. :)

OW: Nopes. Although, I wish I had a better method of procrastinating. These days, to procrastinate, I just open my FB newsfeed and stare, often for hours at a time lol.

yeah pakipower I hope we both get in =)

@ murtaza… I play CS 1.6 online ![]()
and a few of my fav maps include afk6killer, dust 2, snow
and buzzkill ![]()
install CS 1.6 so you can also kick ass online :D

I’ll install CS 1.6 soon, I’ll let you know when I do so.
@pakipower – Staring at FB for hours? you’re not alone my friend, I do that too. ![]()

@kimathi — I understand the feeling of attaching yourself to a university, I’ve expereienced it before and it can be really painful if you don’t make it into that college. But its a make-or-break decision for me now, either I go abroad, or get stuck in my current location. So all we can do now is just root for the best :)

Lol, did anyone watch the ‘police maray gi tu ham inqilab kaisay laain gay…??’ video?

@ murtaza… lol that video is truly… leave it that, would u :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07318jK1rig&feature=player_embedded

Kamran Shafi had a very vivid description of people like the guy in that video:

My favourite line from that video: “yeh meray bhai garmi may kharab ho gaye hain." Classic.

Murtaza: I saw that video in 11th grade. So strange how it’s still relevant. :P

kasam se paki, but the guy’s way of speaking was kinda funny :D

i saw the video too. and now there’s a page for that guy: “Garmi Mei Kharab Inqilaab - The HOT Revolution”. LOL.

and i applied to amherst too! but surely in front of paki and mathsfreak ive got no chance :(

Others have called it the ‘Mummy-Daddy Inquilaab’.

The Arabs protested to being about democracy. We’re protesting against an imperfect democracy to bring about God knows what.

/rant. :)

Edit: qwerty11, I very much doubt you have no chance and that mathsfreak and I have a greater probability of getting in. Amherst has a very personalized admissions process, and it’s need-blind for everyone so only those who are a good fit for the College get in. That could be you.

I just realized what I’m going to miss the most next year: Paratha Rolls! I had one in NYC once and it just wasn’t the same… ![]()
[I’m craving one right now lol.]

[Garmi Mei Kharab Inqilaab - The HOT Revolution | Facebook](Redirecting...) check out the pictures. :p

and paki you sure about the date for amherst? i thought it was the first week of april.

You get zero marks for reading comprehension.

okay zero’s cool. i read that post a while ago and didnt remember what it said exactly. :p

dont worry about paratha rolls, maybe you’ll learn to make them. but i dont think you’ll have a kitchen in your dorm so…

Sahiscope kahan ghayeb ho. This thread needs sane people like you.
