Wow, really? The actor who plays Toby isn’t overweight? Never occurred to me! And, you guys are right, I can definitely think of story lines that could lead them to split up.

I just watched Creed 2 tonight and started thinking of Milo again… Can’t wait for next season.
I saw him in the preview for The Art of Racing in the Rain movie the other day. I like him looking more like his normal clean-shaven self as opposed to throw-back Jack with the mustache.
@2VU0609 The Art of Racing in the Rain is one of my favorite books (and I don’t enjoy fiction). I have high hopes for the film…especially after seeing that Milo is in it!

I’m glad you said something- this month has flown by and I haven’t started noticing the start of the new seasons of anything.
Until the last few minutes I mostly (except for the Jack/Rebecca story) I felt like I was watching a different show. I understand they want to add new characters/timelines but wish they did it a bit more gradually.
I followed the Twitter thread and everyone felt the same. Who are all these new people?? But I love how the writers had me sucked in pretty quickly, and we were shown the connections at the end. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
I followed some but not all of the new characters. I got the blind singer.
By the end, I connected the dots. Jack the singer was the blind baby. Asia was the child taken in. I liked how jack presented himself to the parents at the CC, and how the FA threatened him.
Who was the female war veteran with PTSD and ETOH abuse (and who was her husband and child?)
@jym626 We don’t quite know that yet, but it has something to do with Nick. I thought we had gotten on the wrong channel somehow. Very clever, though.
I wish they wouldnt introduce so many new characters at once. Oh well.

I thought I had it figured out but now I’m confused by @bookworm 's comment (“Asia was the child taken in”). I thought the father of the baby (the boy manning the grill at the party) was current day and was introduced to Asia (who just moved to Philadelphia because of Randall’s new career)?
And everything was present day except for Kate and Toby’s son Jack who is shown at 30ish??
Deja was not the child taken in. Deja is the soon-to-be girlfriend of the boy who took the child in, in present time. My favorite line of the show: “What happened to your face?,” when Deja arrived home all aglow from having a cute boy flirt with her. This is also going to be a chance for Randall to get involved with a young black man and his hard-working, blue-collar father.
I am betting that model-beautiful, super-intelligent, alcoholic PTSD vet will take an interest in Nicky and therefore bump into (and knock boots with) Kevin.
