So it that an hour later for you than normal? EST it always starts at 8pm. So I’m assuming 9 now?

Yep, sorry. 8 central

But tonight is just Women Tell All, right? Not the actual finale. Ok, I can deal with that. I like to watch the finale on the actual night but staying up till 11 on a work night is a deal breaker for me!

I think he will eliminate one of the women early in the show and she will be at the WTA.

I was going to say that they often do the cliff hanger and other flash backs on the tell all shows. I get bored watching the bickering and then miss something new and ‘real.’

Well, I’ll just say that Rachel is a real prize for someone. She is so much more than a pretty face. It’s disgusting that people feel social
Media gives the right to hid behind a screen and torture people with terrible words.

A lot of Maria time and I felt bad for some girls who barely got any screen time.

My guess next week is that whoever doesn’t accept - right away. And that some how things work out before the end of the show - or shortly after.

I got called away before Rachel and Joey talked on set - and so missed the preview of the finale (if there was one).

Do you think they’re setting up Maria for the next Bachelorette? She’d be a bold choice, although as I’ve shared, I’m team Jenny.

I’ll be honest, for me, a whole season focused on Maria would be A LOT, too much!

Well, I cried a lot of tears over the strength that Daisy had that last day. Many mouths must have dropped open over the limo scanning out and seeing both of them there!

But I’m so so SO confused! I thought Jesse announced Daisy as the next Bachelorette? Then Jenn comes out? Seriously, what did I miss in his bringing Daisy back out? - I thought he said she was to be the next one???

Daisy turned it down. She is not ready, is in a good place, and wants to focus on herself and those she loves.

Good for her! I think she’s the smart one.

Yeah, I just read a recap again but I don’t know where my head was I swore Jesse announced her that way!

I said a while ago (some post above) that Daisy was going to be so satisfied with just finding herself and her own person (herself) on this journey and that was going to be her win.

I do want to say that Daisy/Joey’s last day was a really crummy one. “Let’s give them a date where they really can’t even talk to each other” - super awkward! Then Kelsey/Joey’s date is much more playful - their evening too.

Jenn is a beautiful girl. I was hoping we’d get a Golden Bachelorette announcement if I’m being honest!

I thought the same thing. I was so confused. Not interested in Jenn as The Bachelorette. Will go straight to the spoilers. And seems like Kelsey’s dad is the next Golden Bachelor. Or on a Golden Bachelorette show.

Yeah Jesse was doing a lot of hint or confusion dropping between Daisy and Kelsey’s dad!

I also want to add that Joey’s dad seemed like an adorable guy. I know they are not married anymore but he and Joey’s mom seemed super supportive of Joey though Mom seemed a little more high strung.

I have company so wasn’t able to watch closely. I didn’t realize that they were divorced. I liked both his parents.

Joey’s dad came out as gay when Joey was in kindergarten (?) and consequently, a divorce.

Joey’s dad was not on Charity’s season. And I noticed that they didn’t mention anything about Joey’s dad coming out as gay this season. I assume that was at his dad’s request. I was pleased that his dad was there.

Daisy gained a lot of social media following this season. I wouldn’t be surprised if she turned down Bachelorette because she was offered another opportunity. I also can’t get past the potential difference in political ideology. I’m not sure at what point they discuss things like religion and politics, but I would imagine it isn’t until later in the process.

I couldn’t help but wonder why they showed some of the skepticism and sideways glances from audience members. Did anyone else notice that they cut Maria off at the end? They had had her mic’d so I assume they were prepared for her to speak.

Regarding Jenn, what was up with her last night? She was not very articulate and seemed really immature. At 26, she will be one of the youngest Bachelorettes. I can’t imagine her carrying a season. I know it is well edited, but I liked her much more during the season than when she was speaking (somewhat) candidly last night.

This MSNBC article talks about how refreshing it was to have a lead with emotional intelligence. I agree, and it seemed to have worked, because this was one of the highest rated seasons of the Bachelor. Based on what we saw from Jenn last night, it appears that they may are swinging in the opposite direction for next season.

Thoughts on the finale…

  1. Don’t believe the spoilers…(I accidentally saw one at least a month ago by a supposedly credible source and nope, not true!)

  2. I enjoyed the playful relationship between Joey & Kelsey and I truly hope they’re happy.

  3. A previous bachelor/bachelorette got a house…these two got a trip.

  4. I’m glad Daisy turned down the offer.

  5. I don’t care for Jenn. I think she is very immature.

  6. Joey & Kelsey are moving to NY? That’ll be a lifestyle change for him for sure!

  7. I was surprised that Daisy & Kelsey went to the proposal together.

  8. As always I did cry.

  9. I wanted a Golden Bachelorette announcement.

I think that’s everything - until someone brings up something that I forgot!

Apparently Daisy also has dabbled in music videos - some stuff surfaced recently. She also has her foundation she started - so maybe this season was enough notoriety for her to continue with one of those.

Yes, there was one side glance of Rachel that I was like “what is she SAYING?!” I wonder if they planned for Maria to talk because there has been ALOT of backlash against other girls with fans supporting Maria and attacking other contestants. And many wanted Maria to get the Bachelorette spot. So maybe they asked her to throw her support at Jenn to quiet the haters.
