Trash TV - The Bachelor/The Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise

Interesting about the spoilers!

I think that house as a gift season was short lived - as was that relationship (and they didn’t get to keep the $$ for the house! - Michelle’s season).

I also wanted a Golden announcement - what’s the hold up?!

And I wanted to comment that I thought both Daisy and Kelsey in show produced make up and dress both looked different. Especially Daisy - I thought her face did NOT look like her. She looked much older. Kelsey looks like her hair was dyed and straightened.

But then, akin to an Oscars speech, they cut her off.

That was my thought. In some of the post finale interviews, Kelsey says that she has always wanted to live in NY and Joey is supporting her. Although I like them both, I can’t really see them lasting. I think they both have different aspirations in life.

Daisy looked like she had extensions on. The bottom back of her hair was a very different color than the part that was pulled up.

I tried to find a picture of her hair from the side and couldn’t. I did, however, find this. I wonder if the hair and dress styles were coordinated.

Until I saw them together I thought they were wearing the same dress in different colors!

Daisy definitely had the bun wig (extension?) placed - it wasn’t well done.

I had to turn off the show after he chose Kelsey - figuring I wouldn’t miss much - wow, sounds like I did! :joy:

I’m on the west coast so read spoilers (about the new Bachelorette) before I watched. I watched my recording through the “meet the family” portion, and then skipped the dates to watch the ending in real time. I went back and watched the dates last night.

When I watched the first night I didn’t notice the mesh on Daisy’s red (or was it orange?) dress. I wondered how much tape was used to keep her in that dress. The mesh made me feel a little better.

same! I didn’t notice the mesh until later in the show!

Are locations for Jenn’s season considered spoilers?

Yes they are! Please don’t.

I don’t really think of the locations and names of contestants as spoilers myself.

I’ll just say that there is an invite out there for people who want to attend one of Jenn’s dates. I won’t say what city/state/country it is in.

Thinking about Jenn as the next bachelorette - a 25 year old who extols “shot o’clock” is not “wife” material. Sorry Jenn, you’re not ready.

I found a lot of the women on this season to be young and really not ready for marriage. I know Joey is young too, but the talk was not ‘mature’ and the bickering seemed more high school than it has been in other seasons. I liked Daisy but not so much Kelsey.

And really, like, how many times can they, like, say like in one sentence?

I want them to ban the word ‘AMAZING’ for an entire season. How was Spain? Amazing!!! How was meeting Joey’s family? . Amazing. How were the hot dogs? Amazing.

I also want them to ban tattling. If someone isn’t there for the right reasons, let the bachelor/bachelorette figure it out. And knocking on the bachelor/bachelorette’s door (unless you are leaving the show). Yes, I want them to go back to Season 1 where the biggest controversy was someone wearing the wrong color dress.

This made me lol! So true!

On one podcast they are giving them 9 months. Kelsey just turned 26. They feel she is too young for this to stick.

Which is why I think the show is on to something with Golden. Maybe they should do a 40’s edition too. Or empty nest edition. Mix it up.

Well I guess I’m the Jen outlier - I liked her on Joey’s season, granted i don’t know much about her, maybe she will rise to the occasion? I am happy to see some diversity in the contestants. I generally think that most kids coming up are less mature than we were at that age, but I’m biased.

FWIW I did prefer the Golden - a 40’s edition would be awesome.

I agree, but have you seen the 28 men that they released? Only one is Asian.

I liked her on Joey’s season as well. However, we didn’t see that much of her personality.

Meet the Bachelors of the next season

I’m having a real hard time getting excited about this season …. Not too excited about her!

Sorry, I don’t like her. Her introduction to being the next bachelorette was to declare “it’s shot o’clock” which is fine for a 25 year old who’s looking to party, but not someone who wants to settle down in a serious relationship. She’s not ready. She’d probably do well on BIP.

Since there was no BIP this year, this might have been the only offer on the table!
