Trash TV - The Bachelor/The Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise

I’m officially bored with this show. I’ll watch to the end, but honestly don’t even remember who any of these people are from episode to episode. And how are we at hometown dates already?

I can differentiate these women more than I could in other seasons. That said, I don’t feel like I am getting a lot out of the lead. Maybe the editing has changed because I didn’t feel like I got much out of Jenn either.

Have you looked at her Instagram page? There are plenty of bikini shots. And while her dresses may be long, they are certainly not hiding anything.

I thought the dress she wore at this week’s rose ceremony was hideous. According to those tracking what the women are wearing, the dress was very expensive. It is definitely not my taste.

Nope, don’t follow any of these contestants. Only have seen what was on the show.

Oh, that’s so interesting!!! Litia must be making good money as a venture capitalist … or know how to parlay her appearances into freebies. That dress cost the most, but I liked it the least!

Yep. Here is more about her dresses. I liked the coat she wore on this week’s date so was looking up what brand it was. It is selling for $2900 on ebay!

For fun, here are links for the rest of the final four.

The chemistry is so obvious with Juliana. Give her the ring already

I didn’t watch the whole episode last night, but what is up with the hometown dates being nowhere close to their hometown?

You think she’s the front runner? Not Litia? I mean I see them both as front runners.

Litia is like a low energy level person in her presentation so sometimes I’m unsure how into him she is. She’s just a quiet reserved vibe.

I feel like both their hometowns went really well. ALL.THE. PEOPLE. THOUGH.!!!

I felt bad for Dina. Clearly she did not have the stamp of approval from her family for even her to participate in the show. That paired with not being his “top picks” probably made it easy to let her go.

And Zoe. I don’t think she is his type. I’m not sure he is her type either. I think Zoe is into Zoe. How awkward to do a bridal photo shoot.

Both Juliana and Litia fathers were awesome with Grant. Thought it was interesting that in both of these women their mothers were not as featured.

I don’t love the bigger groups of people at hometowns. Limit 5 guests please!

I think they were trying to convey that two of the women had big families. Grant had said several times that he wanted a big family.

I thought Grant looked uncomfortable with Litia’s family.

Beyond any other issues that the franchise is having, I can see why they might have had a difficult time casting the next bachelorette? Who do you feature?
Dina? Zoe? Carolina?

It’s definitely between Juliana and Litia, but the Mormon thing seems like enough of an obstacle. He appears to like her a lot, but he was SO at ease with Juliana’s crew.

I’m curious hoow they’ll edit the sex/no sex drama. I think it’ll be a knock against her with Grant.

Agree with ALLof these comments - I remembered why I didn’t like Zoe from episode 1 or 2, the whole issue about how the other girls got ‘extravagant’ dates and she didn’t? Please!

I missed Juliana’s hometown, but it’s GOT to be between Juliana and Litia.

Do you think Litia’s mom saying she was definitely ready for kids ASAP was a help or a hurt? That was kind of weird to me, I mean, I get that she’s older but really? There aren’t enough kids running around there already to keep her mom happy? lol Plus, as he said, he’s a city boy. I know that SLC is a city, but is it enough of a city? Where does Juliana live??

I do agree on all that. Is Litia a firm no (according to her) on not consummating the fantasy suite? I might have missed that part. I did hear her say she would have issue with him and other women in fantasy suite time…

As far as another Bachelorette from this season I’d love to see Chloi - but she probably wasn’t dynamic enough for the show.

They will all have a second chance to “audition” if they are on Paradise this summer!

Well, he has made it clear that he wants kids so I can’t imagine it would hurt, unless he isn’t fully sold on her.

Lol I am getting the impression Zoe IS and LIKES extravagant!

I also thought the same about Litia and kids - the clock is ticking - at 31! I mean, give them a year at least to even see if they really like each other - but maybe the expectation is several kids and sooner rather than later.

I also thought it was interesting that her hometown WASNT in her hometown but that all those people managed to get to that cabin in…Wyoming???

She said something like that she would have problems with him sleeping with other women in the fantasy suite and that she wouldn’t be sleeping with him and the mom kind of asked her whether she was willing to be flexible about his sleeping with the other women.

As I typed that out I had a thought – maybe her mom is desperate for her to get married. I Googled and the median/average age of marriage in the Mormon church is 22/23. Litia is 31. Maybe her family fears time is running out. (when I was a 19yo, a cousin told me at a party how “it’s a shame that the ones who can cook don’t get married”).

ETA: lol crossposted! @abasket and I both heard that clock ticking!

I thought that was odd as well, especially because he made the comment about him being a city boy. SLC is not a cabin in Wyoming.

If hometown dates are to meet the family, and to get to experience some of what a normal day might be for the final four, going horseback riding in Wyoming seemed too forced. Zoe’s date wasn’t in her hometown, but it did show something that she does on at least a semi-regular basis.

I’m rethinking the edit. This whole season has been so lazy. Maybe all the Mormon stuff is a red herring and OF COURSE he’s going to end up with Litia.

Litia is in venture capital. I was going to say that that gave her a nod, but according to her LinkedIn profile, Juliana is a “client service based associate at Winthrop Wealth,” a wealth management firm based out of Boston.

I’d be OK with either of them.

Ugh, did I really just sit through women tell all? To be fair to myself, I played scrabble and did laundry, but still.
