My son was offered TE (set rate) at University of New Haven. No notification from the school. I got an email from TE that the status was updated.

We have also not heard from Pitt or American. In 2022 we heard from Pitt the first week of January. It is odd. My daughter is interviewing at Pitt this week for two of their scholarship programs, so I wonder if they are waiting to release all the scholarships at the same time? They also havenāt announced their finalists for the Honors college scholarships yet.
RE American: When we toured American almost a year ago now, the admissions representative said TE was extremely competitive.

Has anyone heard about tuition exchange at Fordham, Bryant or Marist?
Last year I believe Fordham released TE results on 4/5/23. This is based on a review of last yearās TE thread.

I did see some students who had applied ED have received TE from American, we applied regular decision so I assume we wouldnāt hear until the decision came out.

We were accepted to Bryant and Marist, received merit from Bryant but no word on TE from either. I wonder how Marist notifies of TE.

My son cast a pretty wide net because he is hoping to continue his sport in college and it is a lot of things that needed to come together to make it happen. We withdrew TE apps at 4 schools so far that he knows he is not going to attend and will likely do the same for a few more in the next few weeks. I agree with you that it is very important to do that.

I hate the waiting. My son has received a couple of TE awards which I appreciate but Iām really hoping he gets TE at a couple of other schools.

Omg! I am so excited. D24 just received her first TE offer at John Carroll University outside of Cleveland!! I was literally about to give up on TE this morning thinking it was just too competitive of a scholarship. So excited to have this wonderful option for her

We just visited Fordham this weekend and met with their TE liaison. She said TE decisions would be announced at the beginning of April.

Quick question: Is anyoneās child applying regular decision to Bucknell? Twin A did, and we received an email today extending him the option of going ED II. We donāt quite know how to read it. Is this something they are extending to all applicants? Did anyone else who applied RD receive this email?

No idea. Is there a regular Bucknell thread? I know many of the TE schools donāt seem to have much posting so it is hard to get information.
I found one, but hardly anyone has posted to it. Itās odd because every other school my boys have applied to seems to have EA/ED/Regular decision threads with many comments.

A lot of schools do this. I am not sure it means anything. Be careful they donāt hold you to acceptance. FAFSA information is not being set to schools until mid to late March.

LOLānever mind. It says at the bottom of the email this offer was extended to all RD applicants. This is what happens when I read emails on my phone as opposed to my laptop, which has larger print for my aging eyes.

Congrats!! My son received TE at John Carroll today as well! Did you receive an email? I only received notification of the status change through the TE portal. TE is set rate, so Iām waiting to hear if they will stack merit aid as well. Iām wondering if the email will give more info. Again, congrats to you. JCU is a great school and a beautiful campus.
