My d25 will be applying for both next year.

We received the letter in the mail today too. We never did receive an email though. Iā€™m not sure about whether it was set rate last year. My older son was waitlisted for TE at JCU in 2022, but then received TE at Xavier which is where he ended up. If JCU was set rate in 2022, I donā€™t think I ever realized it because I removed him from the waitlist once he accepted Xavierā€™s TE.

My daughter has TE at Syracuse. My son is on the wait list for TE at another school. This is impossible to figure out, but how long do most schools give recipients to accept the award before they move on to the waitlist?

Probably until May 1st, unless they get people that tell them they arenā€™t taking it.

This is just a guess though.

We heard from monmouth last week on admission. When I called about TE he said they were offered so everyone else ison the waitlist for now

You will get 50% TE from syracuse- they offer it to all eligible candidates

With Pitt in 2022 my daughter had until May 1 but they pressured her (by email) to decide earlier.

Yes, they get well over 500 applicants each year.

Understandable but she was waiting on all the other TE schools who were not as timely as Pitt. Although Pitt decisions are much later this year than in 2022.

really? It was my understanding that all eligible (ie accepted) student received 50% TE at syracuse

By eligible I meant admitted students who qualify for TE

Mine was deferred from early action and admitted last week. But they already sent out their TE and CIC offers according to the admissions office, so it is waitlist for the rest of us
