Tuition Exchange for Fall 2024 (Class of 2028)

Twin A received TE at Temple. No word on Twin B.

We haven’t heard from Temple. I think it will be a no but I really hope my D’s best friend gets it. It was her first choice school.

This is how crazy TE is. Our tiny home institution like 1500 students has at least 4 (but probably more) kids trying to get TE this year. No wonder schools can’t accept all trying for an award.

Dickinson decisions are out–Twin A accepted and with TE!

Any info on Maryville College and University (one in TN, the other in MO)?

Congrats.

Does everyone’s twins want to go to the same school?

If not that would be funny if the TE twins from different families ended up at the same schools.

Ours appear to be on different paths at this point but we shall see!

S24 also got Dickinson TE! I wasn’t convinced that he would be accepted, but here we are!

As far as Temple, my daughter is a student there and we applied for TE - she is 2nd year - haven’t heard anything.

Well I guess the good thing is schools are starting to let us know.

It has been a busy TE week around here. :kissing_smiling_eyes:

LOL–that would! Ours have different interests and goals, so they haven’t applied to a many of the same schools, but they have tried to apply to schools within a close geographic range.

Sorry to hear about the waitlist! I hope your daughter is ranked highly. Twin B has no news or portal update from there - how did you hear?

My D got an email from them.

I feel your pain because I’m a planner! The waiting to hear about TE is horrible but being on the TE waitlist is almost worse because you are left in limbo!

Just a nice reminder----Don’t apply if not really interested without reading up! Co worker’s daughter got one at a school that was my son’s number one. She has never been there just check it off on a whim. This school doesn’t offer to more than one at each partner school and does not work off a wait list. one round of offers and done. If they arent used they arent used. So her kid has no interest but used the one schools offer we were really praying for. Its hard!!!

Has anyone heard from University of Delaware?

My D was accepted to Case Western University and was awarded the TE! It is a great school but she still is holding out hope of TE from the University of Richmond from waitlist. I guess I don’t blame her because she really liked the UR campus vibe.

That is so so exciting! (and I hope she gets them both!)

Waitlisted at Skid. And, thus, no TE award.

Same. Is that for sure an end to any TE hopes, or do they award it if someone offered TE decides not to attend?

Just learned from my D that she was waitlisted for TE at Temple. I am going to go ahead and email the TE coordinator to let them know they can take her off. I would rather someone that really wants it can hopefully get off the waitlist.

For us it’s for sure an end, as she wasn’t admitted (and even with TE, we’d have more affordable, desirable options)
but I can imagine “never say never” making sense, too.
