Thank you!
Yes 2nd year in a row navigating TE. Glad that 3rd child has a couple of years before we do this again. Unfortunately she is not quite the academic compared to her brothers so I’m not feeling very hopeful!!
Yes this is my experience with the waitlist stuff as well.
Has anyone heard from Pace yet?
My daughter just received her first Tuition exchange scholarship from Suffolk and it’s her top school! We are SO excited!!!
Fantastic! Just came here to say my DD also received from Suffolk… I wish they would have provided a financial statement with it, though. I think they are set rate now (which had changed), so that still leaves $6K tuition.
Waitlist TE. Email today.
Same same ugh.
Denied here - not even waitlist!
We are fachex technically so that may be the difference.
So sorry!
Thank you - we’ll keep looking for the right place for him! Good luck to you both on SLU… hope you get it!!
I asked Suffolk to clarify if the offer was for the set rate (43K) and they said they were meeting about it next week! Here’s hoping it’s a little more!
Yesterday, my daughter received an update on her financial aid portal, and it looks like full tuition is covered. Did anyone else receive this?
No, we don’t have that as an update yet… that’s amazing!
Ditto. D24 applied to 4 TE schools and was accepted at 3 and waitlisted at the other. Got TE from UD! Waitlisted for TE at Syracuse (with another scholarship) and denied at PITT. This year my S25 did all RD. He applied to 4 TE and my POE. He received TE from one so far and still waiting on others. This process is not for the weary!
Does anyone have any sense of the TE process at BU? Was curious when they do TE notifications. Anyone know from past years?
Are you referring to Baylor? If so, I was told on, or just after, March 5th.
Oh sorry, no I meant Boston University.
Hello! Does anyone know how colleges view TE? Like in their financial mind, would they prefer to give TE to someone who got a lot of merit…so it frees up that merit for other students? Or is TE considered the same as merit awards? Interested to understand their perspective of how they consider awards… Thanks!
I think every college does it different.
