Twitter hijacks CC on iPad!

I am typing this from the mobile app (which I hate) because I can no longer get onto CC from safari on my iPad. The page gets hijacked, mid-load to twitter mobile. This is unfortunate since the CC mobile app is much more difficult to navigate and read. I hope that they fix this or I guess I will be ending my CC relationship. There are many other easier options out ther!

You need to send this info to the admin.

I can’t get to the administration page and this cc mobile app is not >50 user friendly!

Their mobile app isn’t very good.

Did you try to clear your browsing cache? That sounds like an issue on your iPad not with the site itself.

Edit, disregard that!!! Looks like everyone having an issue

I have the same thing happening to me when I visit the College Confidential website from my iPad (not even using the app). It redirects to the Twitter homepage!

Me too! CC is not working on my ipad but I’m able to access CC from my desktop.

And me from my Google Pad, but not from my laptop.

Same here! Tried and tried on the ipad, trying to get to the CC discussion board, but it just switched to twitter (which I do not have and have never used). Glad it’s working on the laptop.

Same on Iphone

My Ipad has been hijacked too!

I sent a note to the mod team for you since you cannot on your I phones/pads.

Are you able to “report problem post” from your mobile devices? that may be a way to get the information to admin.

I downloaded a new browser (Mercury) from iTunes which allows your iPad to emulate Safari desktop. Problem solved. Annoying.

This has been reported in the issues forum.

Droid phone is working fine :D

Terrible mobile site though.

Working on my iPhone app but not iPad.

Happening to me too on my iPad when I try to access the CC discussion forum either through Safari or Chrome browser. I have no trouble with my desktop PC running Windows 7. I did a bit of research into this issue. Most likely, the CC forum mobile web site has been hacked. Hope they get to the bottom of this soon.

Seems like lots of tech problems in CC land lately…

The cc forum mobile works on Android. Sounds like it just affected apple folks.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Not sure yet who or what is the culprit, but we have all hands on deck looking for a fix.

Mine’s infected too.

Smart advice is to change your password for both accounts.
