@MomOfSenior2021 there doesn’t seem to be a set pattern. My daughter applied early October and was accepted within 10 days. She got a small merit amount 3 months later.

Was there a Pitt email they were supposed to set up after their acceptance? We have just been checking her portal.
Pitt Honors doesn’t give any extra merit, correct? (PSU works their merit that way).

Has anyone in state gotten more than a $5,000 pure merit award (meaning not a diversity or specialty award)?
Out of state applicants get more to help bridge the difference in tuition, but I’m curious about in state. Thank you.

Does anyone know when honors decisions come out?

Son applied 12/8. Started getting emails a week or so ago to check status on the ps mobile app. On Friday got the buttons. Today (Monday) got the email with the cute video and a separate email with a link to the documents. However, the document has still not loaded and we got the message that it might take 24hr to be able to access. Oh my God, the slow drip of information is killing me! We really need the merit–we are OOS and are hoping for 15k.

Do you send out the decision for the Honors program at the same time as general acceptance?
My D is still waiting too. The dashboard just says you do not having any application pending at this time. But she did get an email that says we have your application
My son was accepted yesterday! He applied 12/9 and started to get notifications to check his email. Got the cute video. He still does not have the accept button. Good luck to everyone! I know it is stressful and hard to wait.
