I got an email on 1/11 that says that they have my application on file. So I guess all I have to do is wait some more lol.
Hi I’m new to this but I applied in September and in October they wanted to see my mid year grades before making a final decision. Did anyone else get this? And when do those decisions come out?
Can you tell me how you found out about the merit award you received? Was it in the same email as the acceptance letter? Was your acceptance email a link to the document center? My son got accepted–received an email with the video. And he received another video with a link to the document center. Today we finally saw the PDF–and it’s just an acceptance letter. No mention of merit.
My daughter received a request for grades, as well. She sent them last week, but she did not receive any update as to timing.
For us the merit came in a separate letter weeks after the acceptance.

Yes, my D received a $10,000 per year scholarship and guaranteed admission to the graduate school of public admin and international affairs. 1 SAT, 8 AP, score mostly 5, 4.0 unweighted GPA, 107 weighted and plenty of EC.

Hey guys so I applied to Pitt Oct. 1, 2020, and they received all of my materials on October 2, 2020 (written in portal). I applied rolling admission (UW GPA: 3.49, W GPA: 3.88 tons of leadership and organizing activities) and still have not received a decision. I emailed them over a month ago asking when decisions may be released on my application and they said sometime within the next few weeks likely. It feels odd to not have received a decision yet. They did ask for my first quarter grades which were sent AGES ago. Has anyone else had this problem? The same thing has happened to me with the same dates for Penn State. Everyone I know in my (out of state) area received their rolling decision months ago.
Are you sure they only asked for your 1st quarter grades? It’s more typical that they want “mid-year” grades which would be first and second quarter. The only exception would be if your school has trimesters. Then they would want the first trimester.

I have similar situation , we applied Nov-19 and everything was complete Nov-23
I called 2 weeks back AO they said application is completed review process and letter will come out soon. It’s been 2 weeks no letter and no change in buttons
Is this bad sign when AO mentioned we will get letter soon ?

Yeah I was a little surprised as well because I’ve heard they typically ask for mid-year grades. It said “first marking period” and my school does quarterly grades. When I emailed with them they said they had received my updated grades so I assume that is what they needed and they did get it… Odd
Possibly mail is slowed by MLK holiday plus inauguriation and sundays?

I applied by the Honors deadline, and just got my buttons tonight! Still waiting for any honors decision or financial aid and merit news! Good luck to y’all!

How long after y’all received your buttons did you get like an actual letter
Within a week the letter and video came. But this was back in October. I think it is taking a bit longer now.
