Congrats! What were your stats? My son was top 4% of class with a 4.8 GPA. We only got “at least $44K” in his acceptance letter. This isn’t enough to justify the cost. Does anyone know how much this could be increased in March? We were hoping for the $100K scholarship based on his stats and what is listed on scholarship page.

My son had similar stats and same scholarship amount. Any idea how much they might increase these scholarships by?
Accepted to Darla Moore in Marketing. OOS 4.2 gpa. 31 ACT. 10 APs - all 5s on exams. Strong community service and ECs. School Year Abroad summer study in France at 15. Accepted so far to Auburn, UGA and UTK. Awaiting TCU, UNC and UVA.

34 ACT 3.82UW, 4.6W (don’t know what SC weighting would be), stellar ECs with leadership but not sure if SC looks at that for EA round.
Accepted OOS to College of Nursing with a major of pre-nursing. 4.1 GPA, 31 ACT, ECs, Ap’s, etc.

DD OOS accepted with 44k merit. My DS was accepted 2 years ago with lower stats, and offered the 100k. Who knows? More applicants every year!

I’m sorry. My (deferred) kiddo also applied to Darla Moore. Out of curiosity, did your student’s deferral letter mention Business or Darla Moore? Ours just said deferred.

Deferred. 1380/3.8. The last 6 days have been rough…rejected from UGA, deferred at UTK, Clemson, and SC. Thank goodness she has Auburn and UDel. Still waiting for Penn State, apparently they’re going to make her wait for an answer until Dec. 24th, the last day of EA notifications! 
This whole process is not for the weak of heart.

OOS accepted Sport & entertainment Management, 1250, 3.75 UW, 4.0 W (haven’t recalculated to find out USC GPA) , two year captain starter of state championship sports team, typical ECs, very good trend of grades from freshman year to now and taking three AP classes, senior year, job related to major,great essay.no mention of merit yet, so hoping to find out more information if that is possible in February or March. Was very pleasantly surprised by acceptance.
Was your son offered $100K for his first (at least) merit offer?
