Anyone know when and how merit is released?
Should be this week if not the following.
Trying to set daughterâs (and my) expectations. If your portal says waiting decision still. Is there any chance you could still be accepted? I am starting to think there is no shot and if anything it will be a spring admit. My daughter has higher stats. And more EC then people that we know were accepted so we just donât understand why with her applying in August she didnât hear on Friday. Slowly freaking outâŠ.
Well, I heard that people were also being denied on Friday. But Iâm not sure.
What major is your daughter?
Sports management.People were definitely denied on Friday as well, my daughter knows some from an Instagram groups for Tampa she is on. She is one of 5 on there that will be majoring in sports management and only one of them heard, no one else did. I think there is one person on here too with the same major that didnât hear either.
I just hope these kids donât have to wait much longer. It has made this a very long and hard weekend.
Is it rolling as in more decisons come out day by day this week or is it like a every friday release date?
I wish I knew that answer.
Iâve seen a few different people who got accepted from RD on Friday too⊠Really quite ridiculous that they are sending out RD decisions before finishing sending out EA.

It doesnât make sense- we submitted on time with a 4.0 unweighted for EA- my only thought is it is going by major as majority to have gotten messages with acceptances seem to be business. Have to be patient but I am perplexed
This is the part that I donât understand. The whole point of EA is so your hear before RD.
None of it seems to make any sense. Some information or update would be nice. But no.
Seems to me this was just the first batch. Decisions werenât even supposed to be out until the end of February.
What do freshmen do if donât get housing on campus? Live off campus first year? I donât like the idea of housing in a hotel where there are hotel guests staying (or is it set up for university students only)?
Has anyone heard of any decisions coming out today?
Anyone know how long after acceptance merit awards come out? My daughter was accepted Friday EA as bio/pre-med no mention on merit award. Thx!
