Ours said 8-10 is ideal and no more than 12 and they talk you out of anything over 12, or at least try.
I would agree this is not the best (however not the worst sign). It would seem to be like a defer because they would want you to update that with first term grades for the RD decisions.
Can you post a screenshot of what you see in portal about the SRAR?
I do not have that on mine.
It says this right underneath a button link âLog into my SRARâ:
Your next step is to create or link to your Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). Once youâve completed this, weâll be ready to review your application! Please include your 7th semester grades on your SRAR if you need to include them on your application.
It doesnât say that anywhere on my portal. I checked desktop and mobile view. It doesnât mention 7th semester grades either.
I am so surprised that they have not communicated when the decisions will be released.
WOW, U of TN shows my kidâs GPA recalculated as 4.8! How is that possible? Does anyone know how they recalculate GPAs?
If you have a recalculated GPA then that is probably a sign of admission. I saw that last year. Congrats! My son does not, so Iâm guessing deferred, especially since he can edit his SRAR again.
Is that GPA listed under calculated UT core GPA? Or listed under calculated self-reported core GPA?
Mine has it listed under self reported core but calculated UT core is blank still.
Weâre the same. This is an interesting portal theory. Similar to âbuttonâ over at Clemson. Wonder what everyone elseâs shows. We have the calculated Self-reported GPA displayed but underneath that, the following is listed and is blank. I will update if I notice any changes.
Calculated UT Core GPA (official GPA)**:
Same
My son has his calculated self reported core gpa listed. UT core gpa is blank. He was also invited to apply for the Honors College. Not sure if that indicates anything?
Thatâs the same as my son. He has the Calculated Self-Reported Core GPA, but the Calculated UT Core GPA (official GPA) is blank.
Does anyone NOT have the Calculated Self-Reported Core GPA listed? I thought that was something that happened when you reported your classes/grades. DS has had that populated for quite a while.
It says the UT Core GPA will not be calculated until June when final grades (8th semester) are reported; that itâs used to finalize scholarships. I donât think there is any âeaster eggâ there.
No no sorry everyone, this was from SRAR showing on the online app, no Easter eggs lol.
I havenât really been following my sonâs U of TN app and just took a peak when I saw the convo about SRAR earlier on here. So my kid inputed his UW grades into SRAR and connected each college to same info, yet each college has SRAR calculated differently. Auburn after we were admitted shows it as 4.7 and GT as 4.3. I though my son had a 4.3 W, per GT, but now seeing itâs so different for each school and the exact same info. So each school must add weight differently.
You have no idea what it means. Quit giving people anxiety.
Do we have a slight idea when decisions will come out?
Then offer a better explanantion as to why it would be there.
It will be next week, but we donât know when exactly. I would assume before Wednesday as that is when many holiday breaks start.
