Those are tougher schools to be admitted. But who knows, I was thinking everyone who is blank canāt be admitted? Itās 33% OOS acceptance rate. ā I hope Iām wrong! We will know soon!

Yeah he applied to some top tier ones for sure. He did get into LSU and Alabama and he does like LSU so thatās an option. Itās just been heartbreaking getting rejection after rejection. I just want this done so we can move on.

It seems like itās so many of the same applicants for all the schools heās applied to and the schools are all taking the same kids. Which makes sense I suppose.
Totally heartbreaking, I completely understand! My daughter is waitlisted at her number one VirginiaTech. - Accepted to UDel, Indiana, Penn State, JMU. Deferred/Declined: FSU, Clemson and - Waitlisted: USC
UTK, would be a great place to go, we know kids LOVE it there. But I donāt have a great feeling about it.
It seemed like UTK was a great fit for his SAT score and his GPA, etc when he applied but now it seems like so many more high stat applicants are here too so itās much harder than we thought. We knew the other schools were stretches for sure but UTK was in his wheelhouse.

sorry to hear thatābut it will build resiliency in your kid that will help him/her in lifeāso that is the silver lining. We have had mostly accepts and now over 5 waitlistsā¦so the waitlist feels like purgatoryāwithout closure! Not sure which is better.

So heartbreaking! My daughter denied after being deferred at Clemson and USC. Still waiting on UTK, Auburn, and NC State. Iām worried sheās not getting in any of those schools either!
