This is crazy. They give us very specific deadlines and if we are even a minute late, they won’t accept the application. But then they get lazy and don’t meet their very generous decision release deadline. Very disappointing and shows how little they care.

I just noticed something on the portal which I never noticed.
" Application Status: Awaiting Decision" is now at the very top. Above where it says “Become a Volunteer!” very big.
I’m still thinking tomorrow is the day, despite them not announcing it yet.
That has always been there for me since the day I got into my portal.

If you are certain it was always there, it may be that we just never noticed it before. But we don’t remember seeing it.
Just because it has always been there for me, dosen’t mean it has always been there for you. Portals are weird sometimes.

Check your portal! As of 4am CST this morning (insomniac mom), my son’s portal still says “awaiting decision” BUT, it has a UT NetID, Student ID and “Admitted Major” listed and the background has a “celebratory” graphic with little Tennessee flags, etc. that wasn’t there before! This is different from yesterday, and I’m taking it as a good sign. Good luck everyone!

That sounds promising ! We are OOS, high stats and don’t see any changes . Good luck ! Are the changes in the main page ?

Wow, I would say that sounds like a great sign! I just checked mine and nothing… which tab are you on to see all that?
I see the IDs and it says an admitted major… there is a place for net I’d but no number….no idea if it was there before

and the ID? All on the same page? Are you guys in state or OOS?
It is next to the counselors name when you into the application….next steps tab

I’m a parent of a current Auburn student and a high school junior interested in UTK. i would love stats as well as we navigate this process again next year! Admitted/Denied, In State va OOS, GPA, SAT/ACT but also major, as that seems from experience a crucial part, would be so helpful for anyone willing. Thanks!!
