This is so confusing. I can do the tour with no message about I shouldnât do it and have a major, canât find my name in the system though.
Still doesnât explain how my daughters says Chattanooga and we didnât apply there??What will we do w our free time after this?? Gotta find a new blog

For what it is worth, I was able to register for the Vol New Admit student day as well as the new admit tours and receive confirmations with my major. I canceled each one. I just tried again, and for the first time, when I just tried again, I was redirected back to my application page. Not feeling as optimistic anymore 
I was able to do the same thing, but my major still was listed in the confirmation email. I guess not everyone has been updated. Was your major listed in your confirmation email for the admitted student tours when you tried again?

if you are not in directory and have not yet been admitted there is no way to find the netid
