is this different than the " Please include your 7th semester grades on your SRAR if you need to include them on your application. that has been there (at least on our view) forever? I feel like that has been there since the application went in months ago.

I have the SRAR update on the portal now too. Under the GPA & Tests tab it has the statement below. So maybe everyone has to report?
*UT will calculate your final UT Core GPA after your eighth semester grades are reported, and will appear after an offer of admission has been made. This is used to finalize admissions and scholarship eligibility based on your official final high school transcript in June.

Allegedly, some people were told it would be coming out today by the admissions office, but when I called I was told they âwerenât informed of a specific date or time yet but it will be before this Friday.â
For some reason , we canât remember 100% if it was ever there before . But I am a very visual person and I donât recall seeing it prior
based on past years, Iâd be on the lookout around 4 on any given day for a announcement

Is still think it will be today. The portal is obviously ready to go based on this morning. SMU sent a notification email 5-6 hours before they released yesterday and I think UT-K will do the same.

Interesting. If you donât mind me asking, was the confetti background or Admitted Major there for you this morning?
I also have this now that I look, I was not looking earlier when the tells were shown, (Im a senior btw)
I think these changes in portal are very telling of admission, deferral or denial. Just like Clemson button predications was correct. I am sure IT has to start setting up changes to get the announcement to roll out in the portal and it makes changes we can see before hand.

I did not see the confetti earlier but I didnât even login until around 11:45
I think that might mean rejection or you just missed the confeti.

Oh ok. The only thing now we can really do is wait. I am curious as to what the admissions counselors would say about the confetti and admitted major changes this morning. I doubt they could really tell you if those things 100% mean youâll be receiving an acceptance.
I am in the same boat. They have only so far awarded the top two tiers of merit and both were for less than what they had published on their website. S24 âshouldâ be getting the $11K but now I donât know if he will get anything and if he does, that $11K will likely be less.
Honestly, I donât think they would answer if we asked as I think we all agree it most likely a tell and wasnât supposed to happen
