Mine still says awaiting decision. While I loved my tour at UTK, the surrounding area, and could really see myself as a student there, I’ve kind of moved on to the other schools on my list that have shown me love from the beginning! I’ve narrowed my top choices to Baylor, Furman, Clemson, Florida Tech and UNC-W. I’m excited about them and the longer the wait for UTK the more they fade to the background

Yes!
“Awaiting decision” is still on my son’s portal.
Someone who also reported seeing the major in January still has “awaiting status.” The system may still be updating

Can anyone register for the Big Orange Preview? I saw it in my events tab and would like to attend if admitted and it gave me this message. Also asks if you’re an admitted student in the registration.
I imagine it’s the same deal as the admitted students tour — may mean something, may not

I can’t remember what it was called.
We didn’t see a point in applying to scholarships for a specific school if she doesn’t even get in.
I just remember that it was always 2 on the Just for You page.
Perhaps they are updating the portal by last names or majors.

Yes, anyone can sign up for a preview day.
I assumed so, but this appears. I signed up through the admitted student form and it allowed me to. That’s why I’m wondering, but it looks like we’ll know either today or tomorrow since the portals are changing.
does anyone know what time they announced the release day and time for early action, I know it was the same day
Same with ours … we were deferred back in December and this is our safety school so it was a big surprise . We did the hack last week and were able to log in as an admitted student showing our major . Our portal looks the same it has for months .

Nothing on S24 portal has changed. Just can’t believe that he applied to UTK over 5 months ago and we still don’t have an answer (after EA, then deferred). Already admitted to 12 schools, but UF and UTK lingering…

What’s the point? Decisions are due anytime now. Everybody has been patiently waiting for a while just a few more hours or days.
