I am an UTK Alumni and would say that campus is very safe. Of Course everybody still has to be careful nowadays but when i was there it was very safe. I used to walk to Graduate school for research at 3 in the morning.

Thatâs good to hear. I was a bit concerned when we looked last year, a couple of people mulling around in the daytime that didnât appear to be students. Iâm a life long city dweller so I tend to be hyper aware, and it might have just been a fluke. I havenât pulled their crime stats, but I know theyâre published somewhere.

Even though every ounce in me says no I am going to try Admitted hack once more and then cancel the appt.

Under next steps tab and says, â Your application has been deferredâmeaning you will receive an admission decision in late February.â

I still get a major and college when i sign up for tour. I am going to leave this one on till decisions come out.
I was going to try it again but I canât get in anywhere to do it this time ⊠lets hope for tomorrow!!

I came home and saw over 100 notifications for this thread, so I thought decisions had come out for certainâŠ
Our âAwaiting decisionâ was removed in the last 2-3 hours. Still the the deferral message under âNext Stepsâ tab and nothing under âEventsâ tab. What really burns me up is that my son is chilling in his room while I do all the pacing! 
Looks like it is just a miscommunication between all of us. We all seem to be in the same boat at the mercy of UTK admissions except for boymombcs23 has the Admitted Students tour under Events.
LMAO. I am more hyper about this than my daughter she is watching the latest episode of The Rookie. Every time, i mention UTK she yells âSTOP IT DADâ I donât care although i know in my heart she is anxious too.
My parents and I both are super anxious because I only applied the 4 schools and the only school I applied to instate was UT Austin I got capped so we are all really hoping for UTKđ

Ours is still showing Admitted Student tours under events. No changes to portal - still shows Awaiting Decision, same background, and deferred letter. Had the portal changes a few weeks back showing admitted major (first choice). Registered for Admitted Students tour. Received confirmation email populated with major and college. Also received follow-on email at 1:51 (2:31 EST) inviting to register for 1:1.
