I feel like it’s going to be either today or tomorrow. If somebody who had mentioned above, their athletes are getting confirmation of acceptances already I feel like it’s got to be pending for the rest of us. Obviously, understanding the athletes know prior who’s committing I just feel like they wouldn’t have that big of a timeframe in between both. Thoughts?
Agreed. I still think portals were cleared in advance to avoid the background changing and admitted major showing like before. Although I hope it’s today, I could see them waiting until tomorrow to avoid the influx of phone calls.
My daughter was accepted in December. I wouldn’t be too concerned if you don’t see something in the USPS Informed Delivery. My daughter’s did not arrive right away.

The “major” athletic teams does not play a role. My Dad is a FB coach at a D1 school, they have a set # of scholarships plus a set # of preferred walk ons they can take. Those #'s don’t change. They can have those spots at anytime.
That’s not what I meant . I meant if certain students are getting notified already we all will start to hear either way .

If you go to knoxnews dot com (don’t want to link it) there’s an article about spring students at utk. Mention number for fall projections as 6900 freshman and 1600 transfer.

Last year the morning of the EA decision release my sons portal under resources had a tab added that said decline admissions. I have been keeping an eye on that page too for a clue. Friends of his who also applied last year and who were not accepted, did not have that button.

I don’t, I had the admitted major last month and the major on the tour but honestly I’m not sure that means anything now. I’m getting a little worried😖
No one during the EA round this year reported that. They may have fixed it
S24 was EA/deferred. App Status & Counselor gone, only Self-Guided Tour button is available. Admitted Tour hack previously reflected 1st major/program & kept tour date. Definitely have huge doubts now…

I still wanna believe that there’s no way all of us would’ve had that successful outcome doing the hack if they weren’t admitted. I wish they would just say when they’re coming out already to save us all the grief

Yeah it doesn’t seem likely because my stats as well as everyone else who got deferred had higher than average stats and my extracurriculars were really good with a bunch of internships
I have a hard time believing the tour hack means nothing since some people’s second major was listed. I feel like if everyone got their first choice it’d be suspicious.

Agree, I feel like it means something. Also, back in January when portas were showing admitted major. How can there be that big of a screw up

I agree! Ours was blank and then populated two days later. If all we’re getting first major and not second and still blank maybe I would be more doubtful. My husband works in education with a portal system and everything is loaded internal backend so likely it’s pulling already input information that’s completed.

However, was there anyone NOT able to get in and sign up? That seems odd to me as well. There is no way everyone was admitted for RD.
I think some were still reporting blanks in the school and major correct? And we are just a tiny snapshot of people trying
