Yes I was thinking the same - my status is back “awaiting decision” that’s all I have

Same here. There is some action (albeit limited) on the RD thread.

I also noticed that if you go to “Events” and just scroll down to where Big Orange Events, Campus Tours, and Self Guided Tours are, there is now only a blue register now button for Self Guided Tours. If you go back to the top of that page and click on “Upcoming Events” right below where your status is it brings you to New Vol Admitted, Transfer Student, New Vol Admit, and Big Orange. They all have registration buttons but when clicking they just bring you back to main page. Anyone else actually able to register? I know last year they could but they probably caught on and fixed that glitch.

Counselor info has also returned

Last year anyone could register - I know a lot of kids here that did that and they didn’t get in

This may be a good sign for you - when I to to Events and scroll down, I have the Prospective student option too :frowning:

It’s weird bc when I log in and go to the “events” tab at the top under menu, it does not give me the option to register for big orange there. No buttons at all. But after I have clicked the events tab under menu, then select the upcoming events button under the status section, I can then register for big orange.

My son got invited to the rocky top transfer program, I was wondering if you would live on campus with this program. Thank you

Does everyone waitlisted get offered the study abroad program or pathway programs?

Are there any advantages to being in the Chancellor’s Honors College? This year, it requires living in the Honors LLC. Does anyone have thoughts?

My daughter did, but some of her friends did not.

I have a friend whose daughter is a freshman in the Honors program. She found having the priority registration for classes to be wonderful and the advisors through the Honors program to be beneficial too. From reading elsewhere, it does seem like the required dorm for next year is one of the newer ones. It’s location, near the fitness center, is appealing to my son.
