University of Virginia Early Action/Early Decision for Fall 2024 Admissions

TCU charges significantly more for Neely School of Business students.

She seems like a stellar applicant. All I can think is that it must be either her essays or the fact she’s test optional. She has everything else.

I know there’s a large difference in placement between UVa and TCU Arts & Sciences undergrads. I didn’t see Neeley’s placement report on its website.

I was responding to the question about other schools charging extra for their business programs. Not sure how Arts & Sciences placement relates.

Hello
When are waitlisted student that applied EA can hear back as email stated 2 week after May 1.however now that UVA has change decision day to May 15, i qonder id they will delay waitlist another 2 weeks?

Have Rodman scholars been released? My D24 was accepted EA to UVA so were wondering about process and didn’t see posts from students who have been offered Rodmans.

I think you can almost guarantee that. I wouldn’t expect any waitlist movement until the third week of May at the earliest.

My S24 just received an Echols Scholars invitation via email today. I know Rodman is separate, but I assume they’ll be sending those out shortly.

Congrats to him!
DD got in EA but no Rodman so we are hoping it might come through with this after the RD round.

Thank you so much! Fingers crossed for your DD!

@sunny30 Congrats to your son! My D24’s classmate was offered Echols last month, so comforting to hear that UVA is still rolling out Honors….hopefully, there are emails waves for Rodmans too.

Thank you so much! Fingers crossed for your D24!

Per Dean Js blog, the second round invites all went out yesterday.

Thanks for update. Anyone get Rodman?? In-state or OOS?

Anyone got the offer from the waitlist so far?

OOS financial offers are out! Mine didn’t get a ton, but did see some merit from them. Stats are 4.5W/3.9UW gpa, 33 ACT.

Is everyone’s out or is it just rolling, I assume? I’ve been looking on the SIS portal, hoping that’s where I’m supposed to find it…

I think oos is there. We got an email and there was a button to click in the financial aid area of the portal. In state is this week?

Student Financial Services is not packaging by residency status. They are working through thousands of packages and posting regularly. I’ve given updates on instagram almost every week since the Dept of Ed started sending the data.

Is it normal to still not have an aid package posted to the SIS portal?
