I’m so excited for your kiddos.
My son hasn’t received anything yet. Some of you got the waitlist update request as did my son so my hope is fading

I believe the update request went to all waitlisted applicants so holds no significance. Don’t give up hope, yesterday was the first release and no doubt there will be more. Good luck!

That’s my understanding and I believe it was also the case in prior years.

I think everyone on the waitlist last year was first asked to indicate continued interest prior to the release of decisions. Decisions seemed to be released by college.

Offers of admission then came in waves to fill any spots that weren’t taken by prior offers.

For those who received an offer, how long were you given to decide?

Thank you for clarifying that’s also what happened last year regarding interest updates going out to everyone.

It seems Thursday was the first release date for all colleges. Just like previous years, those receiving offers have one week to decide.

So it was a crazy scramble Thursday evening organizing flights and a hotel. My daughter flew up last night with my husband for the weekend!

Thank you! I remember one parent saying they had not received the update request and it was completely silent so I appreciate knowing it is no indicator of getting off the waitlist.

I would guess Friday at the earliest. The deadline for the first wave of acceptances from the waitlist is tomorrow so I assume they need time. :crossed_fingers:
