it would be great if they at least see the scores since they are in the common app, but very likeley that the data will be suppressed for the readers.

I do think it’s nuts that some schools require official scores at time of application. Why? It’s just one more thing for kids (or parents) to do and needlessly spends money on what is already a very expensive process.

We are with you on that one. I wish all schools would let the students self-report but require the official score when accepting the offer to attend.

This happened to us. If the scores beat the review, then they’ll be included, but if they review before the scores get there, it will be test optional. They will tell your daughter that the scores matter very little and not to worry about it. I know that doesn’t help. Unfortunately, Wisconsin takes a long time to get those scores into their system.
