it would be great if they at least see the scores since they are in the common app, but very likeley that the data will be suppressed for the readers.
I do think it’s nuts that some schools require official scores at time of application. Why? It’s just one more thing for kids (or parents) to do and needlessly spends money on what is already a very expensive process.

We are with you on that one. I wish all schools would let the students self-report but require the official score when accepting the offer to attend.

This happened to us. If the scores beat the review, then they’ll be included, but if they review before the scores get there, it will be test optional. They will tell your daughter that the scores matter very little and not to worry about it. I know that doesn’t help. Unfortunately, Wisconsin takes a long time to get those scores into their system.

It definitely isn’t the APPL designation in the My Diagnostics because it says in the diagnostics report that this isn’t included because of past portal astrology!

My son’s acceptance came out around 6 PM on 1/29 last year. That morning, we noticed the number of his apps in his portal increased by one, and the new app was called Terradotta. It seemed that those who had it that day were accepted, and those who did not were denied or deferred, but none of this is a perfect science. If it is the same as last year, decisions should be released a week from today, but who knows? Wishing the best to all!

This past weekend (Saturday night around 10:15pm) they must have been doing some updates in the portal. My son logged in to check things and this is what he saw in the student center. The view decision letter/check financial aid/contact us links didn’t go anywhere (could click but nothing happened) and nothing happened if you clicked on any of the buttons. It was the weirdest thing.. There was a peoplesoft code/error message when he logged in, but he was able to push past that and saw this.

Well, the certainly seems like a positive tea leaf.
It seems positive but who knows – computers make weird things happen. We are refusing to get our hopes up until we see that actual letter!

My webapps have been changed from 88 to 85 entries. Is it normal?

No - they disappeared after about an hour.
My sons changed today as well.
And we are back up to 88 again.
